The early morning light streamed through the café windows as Zelos walked in, his mind swirling with emotions. The familiar scent of coffee beans and freshly baked pastries greeted him as he entered, but today, there was an unusual weight in his chest. Today was the day he would tell his boss he was leaving-leaving the job, the life he had known for so long, because he was about to start something new, something monumental.

As Zelos approached the counter, the café owner, an older man with graying hair and kind eyes, smiled at him warmly. "Zelos, you're early today. What can I get for you?"

Zelos hesitated for a moment, his fingers fidgeting nervously. "Actually, I need to talk to you about something important." He glanced around the café, seeing the familiar faces of the regulars and his coworkers. He had spent so many mornings here, serving them, chatting with them-this place had been a second home. But it was time to move on.

The owner raised an eyebrow, sensing the seriousness in Zelos's tone. "What is it, Zelos?"

Taking a deep breath, Zelos spoke softly, "I'm leaving the café. I've decided to... I'm getting married."

The owner blinked in surprise, a wide smile slowly spreading across his face. "Married? Zelos, that's wonderful news! I had no idea you were even seeing someone."

Zelos couldn't help but smile as he nodded. "Yeah, it's been... intense, but I'm sure of it. I need to go back to his land. He's the Alpha, and I'm going to be his Luna."

The owner's eyes widened even more. "Alpha and Luna, huh? I knew there was something special about you, Zelos. But I didn't think it was that special." He chuckled, then placed a hand on Zelos's shoulder. "We're going to miss you around here, but I'm happy for you. You deserve this."

Zelos felt a wave of emotion wash over him, the weight of this change finally sinking in. "Thank you. I'll miss this place too," he said, glancing around once more. "But it's time."

The conversation with the owner went smoothly, much to Zelos's relief. There were no hard feelings, only support and congratulations from his boss and coworkers as they hugged him goodbye.

After leaving the café, Zelos met up with a few of his friends-humans who didn't know much about his werewolf life but had been a part of his everyday world nonetheless. They greeted him with excitement when they heard the news of his upcoming marriage.

"You're getting married?!" one of his friends, Runa exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug. "That's amazing! We need to celebrate."

Another friend, Jay, grinned mischievously. "So, you're ditching us for some mysterious Alpha? How come we never heard about this guy before?"

Zelos laughed, feeling a little shy under their teasing gazes. "It's... complicated. We kept it quiet, but yeah, he's amazing. And things have moved fast."

"You're blushing!" Runa teased, poking him in the side. "I bet you're already missing him."

Zelos could feel the heat rising to his cheeks. It was true-he had been thinking about Zuko ever since he woke up that morning. The way his Alpha held him, the way his deep, possessive eyes lingered on him every time they were together. It was impossible to ignore how much he missed him, even when they were apart for just a few hours.

"Okay, okay," Zelos said, laughing as he tried to fend off the teasing. "I do miss him. But let's focus on today, alright?"

They spent the next couple of hours eating and reminiscing about the time they had spent together, laughing about old jokes and talking about what was next for all of them. Zelos enjoyed the lightness of it all, but the thought of leaving this part of his life behind was bittersweet.
