The sky was blue as ever, clouds were everywhere, but the clouds were disintegrating as I flew through them in a fast motion.
No I'm not crazy I said flew. It's one of many powers I have. I am a super hero you know.
Humming the last parts of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" I felt something in my gut telling me to fly away. Before I could ask my gut why? I heard a giant shriek in the air. 'What the heck is that?' I thought. And where could it be coming from. Listening closely the sound was rushed it sounded like it was heading right towards me.
I was right because before it hit me giant squid broke through the sky. I squealed as I got out the way. Slightly stunned by what just happened I got furious. Who in their right mind would throw a giant squid in the air without checking the sky for either planes or jets, but most importantly me.
"Hey!" I yelled "next time you throw a squid in the air warn a girl will yah!" I said flying lower down beneath the clouds. I was ready to beat the living pulp out of someone. I was absolutely livid.
"Oh I've should have guessed it was you" I said to my Dad.
"Ha ha" my dad laughed nervously "see what had happened was-" he started but I cut him off. "Don't you dare 'see what happened was' me, you were rushing only because you wanted to watch the game." I said the end childishly as I scolded him for being reckless. "You should be mo-" I was cut off as a squid suddenly fell from the sky with a panic squeal towards an Elementary School. "See what you did!" I yelled to my father. "Ugh I have to do everything around here!"
I dove down towards the squid before it could touch the ground or the poor Elementary School. I happened to notice some of the kids at the playground saw me and their eyes went as wide as saucers and some even pointed at me.
"Hi" I said to the kids, one even awkwardly waved at me in complete awe, I laughed at the gesture and I flew up back into the sky with my arms raised above my head towards the sun with the squid attached. I swung my arms back as if I were trying to push a giant swing and threw it towards the sun.
After hearing a satisfying sizzle I calmed down, until my dad congratulated me. I knew what he was doing trying to butter me up thinking this was going to cover up his carelessness earlier.
"Nope" I said "I'm totally telling mom."
"You wouldn't dare" he said.
"Is that a challenge daddy?" I asked in a kid voice. He suddenly flew directly in front of me.
"Yes it is" he said looking rather determined.
"Fine" I said "if I win you have to tell mom about almost killing me and you have to wear a dress the entire week my choice outfit" I stressed out those last three words and I smirked at the horrid expression on his face "what's wrong daddy looks like you've seen a ghost" I said with puppy dog eyes and a slight smile.
"Oh nothing my dear" he said regaining his fierce face from before "and if I win you have to dye your hair green and wear a shirt that says 'I love sniffing hair' for a week."
"Fine" I said slightly agitated at the shirt idea.
"Fine" he said. "Lets do this"
"One, Two," we looked at each other "Three" I said. And as soon as the last vowel of the number three left my mouth we were flying at full speed toward our house.
Passing planes, clouds, and zapping a few birds out of my way I was almost there.
Looking to my left nothing was there. Looking to my right and nothing as there also. 'Where could he be' I thought.
