Chapter 2- Courting the Shark Girl

A week later in Lumina Square:

A week has passed since Belle announced who would be the first person to join her new group alongside Zhu Yuan. Belle and Zhu Yuan are at Tin Master's Coffee Shop enjoying a break from work as they enjoy a cup of coffee together. Zhu Yuan is trying to tell Belle about her day as Belle is frustrated as she continuously scrolls through her phone. Zhu Yuan starts to get frustrated, because she feels like her girlfriend is purposely ignoring her.

Zhu Yuan frowned as she crossed her arms and said, "I really wish that you would put that your phone and talk with me about what is bothering you."

Belle placed her phone down as she solemnly said, "I'm sorry. I have been searching for her the last week and still no word about where she is. I just know that she graduated from high school not long ago."

Zhu Yuan reached across the table and held Belle's hand in her hand before she said, "I know that it has to be frustrating for you. I did offer to look her up in the database to see where she could be."

Belle sighed before she said, "I know, but I don't want her to think that she is in trouble with law or anything when she hasn't really done anything wrong."

Zhu Yuan frowned before she said, "True, and it would put a lot of people in the crosshairs of Public Security." They were quiet for some time before Zhu Yuan had an idea and continued. "Didn't you say that she works for Victoria House Keeping, and they work with your older brother?"

Belle looked confused as she replied, "Yeah. Why do you ask?"

Zhu Yuan calmly replied, "Why not get a hold of him. I am sure that he would be willing to give you their contact information as long as you make it clear that your not trying to still one of his clients away from him."

Belle was amazed as she said, "You're right, Zhu. You are so smart. I should have thought of that."

Zhu Yuan smiled as she said, "I am glad that I could help."

Belle and Zhu Yuan talked about different things until Zhu Yuan's break was up. Belle walked her back to work before she headed back to Random Play. Along the way, she pulled her phone out and dialed Wise's number. After a few rings, Belle heard him answer her call.

"Hey, Belle. It's nice of you to call. Is everything okay?" Wise calmly said.

Belle frowned before she replied, "Hi, Wise. What makes you think that I am calling for something?"

"The only time that you call outside of our normal meetings is if you need something." Wise calmly replied."

Belle felt her face heat up before she said, "That's not true. I do call you for other things." Belle sighed before she continued. "But it is true that I am calling now for something that I hope you would help me with."

Wise was silent for a moment. "What do you need me to do?" Wise calmly said.

Belle frowned as she replied, "I was wondering if you could give me Lycaon's contact information for

Victoria House Keeping."

Wise was silent some more. "What would you need their information for?" Wise solemnly asked.

Belle quickly replied, "I am not trying to take them away from you, if that is what you are implying. If you have to know, I just need to get some information for my personal reasons from him. That is all."

Wise eventually sighed. "Fine. If that is all you need from him, then I have no problem sending you that information. Also, remember that we have a video conference this afternoon in a couple of hours. Don't be late." Wise calmly said.
