I met Jungwon right after the bell rang and signalized the first break.

"Eyy what's up?"
He asked me, and our hands clapped again.

I shrugged just as I did in the morning. I leaned against the stone wall as we arrived outside, and took out a single apple.

"Just maths here and there, it sucks"
I responded, Jungwon giggling in response.

"By the way, let's go to the cafeteria. Apparently we have a new student here and as the school president I have the honor to walk her around and show her the school grounds"
Jungwon said then, me raising my brows in response.

"This cursed student president existence"

I chuckled as I shook my head and we both started walking to the cafeteria and ended there pretty fast.

At first we could see no one so we just placed ourselves aside from the other students and waited patiently.

"Jungwon?"

My best friend raised his head when someone slightly tapped his shoulder from behind.

Didn't I know this voice?

Jungwon quickly turned around and the brown haired girl was revealed. I didn't even think of her may being the new student Jungwon meant before.

I already forgot about her existence after I left my seat for the break.

She actively participated in the maths lesson despite this having been her first day at this school. It sucked how she already showed her ambition on her first day while I seemed like a cursed ninny.

"Oh, hello! You must be Eunjin, the new girl here?"
Jungwon asked nicely, the girl nodding in response .

"Yeah, that's me"

I took a closer look at her and only noticed now how she prepped her uniform with some bows and accessories.

"Oh, hey Heeseung! I didn't know we would see each other again that soon"
Eunjin laughed, looking at me with her bright eyes.

I forced myself to smile but quickly turned around to walk frontwards, mentally preparing myself to walk around the school with those two.

I heard the two talking behind my back, Jungwon asking her how she and I have met and she explained that we were seat mates from now on.

Eunjin and Jungwon even talked about their favorite subjects and personal interest while we were walking around, passing every single classroom.

"Hey, Heeseung!"
I heard Jungwon's voice calling me as I already turned around and raised my brows .

"Hm?"
I hummed.

"Let's show her the base"
Immediately when I heard Jungwon saying this, some red alarm clocks started to ring inside me.

I immediately shook my head and looked at Jungwon seriously.

"No"
I replied shortly, my hands buried in my pockets.

The boy tilted his head and narrowed his eyes.
"Come on, I think she'll like it"

I shook my head again.

The base was something that was only meant to be seen by either me or Jungwon.
It was a room in the basement which used to be the old cleaning room until we got a new one.

There was some old furniture in it and as Jungwon and I were supposed to get some balls from the sports room, we passed it.

Only a short while later we set it up and made it to our personal comfort zone spot.
When we had free periods, we spent our time there just chilling out.

We never told anyone about that, as it was obviously a secret. And I wanted it to stay a secret, not being told by anyone.

Especially I didn't want anyone to know who just had the luck to be admired by Yang Jungwon.
It was obvious that he liked her so there was no other chance why he would want to tell her.

"Jungwon"
I knitted my brows, my serious look at him being more than just steady.

Eventually he had to give in and nodded.

"Okay, then not. Sorry, Eunjin, maybe I will show you one day"

No he wouldn't, not for gods sake.

Eunjin just smiled and accepted it like that. She still had this red aura around her and honestly I wondered if Jungwon had noticed that as well.

I continued my walk and observed the hectic students running through the building.

Eventually we landed right there in the cafeteria again. Perfectly on time, the bell rang the second we arrived at the spot we started from.

"Oh, well guess we made it perfectly on time. I hope you liked the tour, Eunjin! Let me know if you need anything else, as the school president I'm also your trust student"
Jungwon explained then, the girl nodding gently in response.

"Thank you really much for that, Jungwon. This school seems so amazing! I can't wait for the near future to come"

Eunjin said then, happily bowing down to Jungwon and me before she turned around and left.

Jungwon looked at her back for a while until she was completely out of his sight.
I giggled and he looked at me surprised.

"What is it?"
He asked surprised, I shook my head and just began to walk a next to him.

"Nothing"
I finally responded.

When I arrived in class, I saw Eunjin already sitting on her seat next to mine.
I exhaled and sat down on my chair and turned my head away from her.

"Here, have a sweet"
I raised my brows when I recognized a hand placing a bonbon on my table.

I looked at Eunjin surprised and then back at the sweet on the tabletop.
She probably knew that I was about to push it back to her when she spoke her next words.

"I don't accept a rejection. Take it or throw it away, as long as you take it now"
Eunjin giggled when she watched me sighing and stuffing the lemon bonbon inside my pocket.

I still wasn't interested in talking to her but apparently she was that kind of human who tried to spread her love and kindness everywhere.

"I might not seem like someone who can make you enjoy your silence all the time, but still I think that I will make a good job motivating you"

I heard her saying that and I instantly snorted.

"No chance"
I replied shortly, raising my brows when I examined her face.

She pouted her lips and crossed her arms over her chest. I didn't know why but she kinda looked cute doing that.

No Heeseung, don't think something like that. Ah wasn't cute, she was just acting cute for aegyo

"Believe me"
She eventually said before turning around again, placing her chin on her hand on the table.

I snorted once again and looked back out of the window, ready to zone out for the next hundred lessons again.
