And It Stared Back

Red surrounding her as she struggled to get free even more, She tried to yell and cry but there was nothing.

Floating around in the deep dark lake were others, Red eyes staring back into hers faces of fear and horror she would never forget.
It wasn't fair, Why did they treat them like this?

It wasn't fair..

Panicking darting around in the water barely able to reach any distance her eyes fell on one of the bodies, It stared at the ground but when she looked it in the eye It stared back she moved back desperate to get out of the cold murky lake she lifted her leg closer to herself and began chewing on the rope, her surprisingly sharp teeth helped her in the long run I suppose.. The villagers were long gone eventually the rope had snapped she began rising to the surface again hearing their cheers of celebration. She climbed upon the shore and turned to the village, she took a step back hesitantly almost falling back in.

One more glance at the lake and the forest behind it, she began running the opposite direction of her village and never turned back.

Though as free as she was now from all the torture she still has a long way to go, The stars will guide her as she follows His destiny.
