I was freezing. I sat there all night. I stayed awake the night, because I was to scary to fall asleep. I had no way of time but I heard kids outside so I assumed that it was morning. I was shaking when I felt the trash can being kicked by some kids. My blood was rushing. My heart beating out of my chest. I felt the trash can fall over. I was drowning in my own fear. I was even more scared when the trash can lid opened. I just heard screams of boys looking in at me. It was hard to see them from the blinding light. I crawled out slowly and shaky. When I stood up I looked around. Then I saw Robert opening the door to the house. I began to charge. Even though I was very weak. I hid behind a truck. I heard a flustered Robert scream. If he found me I would be in so much trouble. I breathe out very shaky. Tears streaming down my face. Only thinking about what would happen next.
