I crawl on top of my bed, my head beating. I have no clue of what happened last night. All I know is that it was bad. Everything was quite until I heard the back door creek open. Since I was on the top level I had time to react. I knew it would most likely be Robert the man who had been hurting me. I put myself back where I was just earlier so he would hopefully think that I was unconscious. I close my eyes and my bedroom door opened swiftly. To my surprise Robert just laughed and slammed the door shut with all his might. I waited 10 minutes until I moved just to be safe. I looked at the door and saw a plate with a slice of bread on it. It was the most amount of food I had have in a week. I scrambled over to the food and slowly savored each bite. Just in case I did not get much food tomorrow I saved some of the bread. I looked at my stomach there was nothing there expect bones. I have been starved for months. I don't know how much I weigh and I don't plan to know. Even though I'm beaten and starved each and everyday I'm thankful because some people have worse then me. I sit for a minute. Then then I see the door handle twist open. My eyes filled with fear once more. Here he is for me.
