Reader discretion is strongly advised. For this part you can't skip it because it's basically all the chapter sorry for sensible readers."Marcus bled out alone because of you!" I snarled, stepping into the dim light, my voice thick with venom. "Now you get to feel every second of that pain, just like he did."
Alec's eyes widened, fear twisting his face as I advanced. He fired-too late, too scared. The bullet barely grazed my arm, a meaningless wound in the face of the storm that raged inside me. I lunged at him like an animal freed from its cage. But then I felt it-a sharp pain slicing through my side. I staggered, looking down to see a knife embedded deep in my abdomen, a searing pain igniting a fire in my veins. Rafaelo was fucking lurking in the shadows all the time ??? a twisted smirk curling on his lips as he plunged the blade deeper.
"Enjoy your revenge" he taunted, retreating toward the exit as the sound of a helicopter's rotors echoed ominously outside. No.Not this shit again. This motherfucker.
Pain seared through my side, a relentless reminder of Rafaelo's betrayal. I could feel the warm blood soaking my shirt, mingling with the fury boiling inside me. This was the second time-*the fucking second time*- that he'd dared to lay a hand on me. The first was a bullet to my flesh, a wound I thought I could shake off, but this? This was deeper, more personal like I always say, and I felt it in my bones.Every instinct screamed at me to hunt him down right now, to make him suffer as he'd made me suffer but I won't let the chance to this other rat to fucking escape me,he fucking betrayed me, and after that set me a trap.My heart raced, not from fear of my own mortality, but from the rage that ignited within me. How *dare* he? How dare he think he could stab me in the back-literally and figuratively? The humiliation of it burned hotter than the pain radiating from my wound.
Rafaelo had always been a shadow, lurking at the edges of my life, a dark stain on my past. But this time, he crossed a line. He didn't just want to hurt me; he wanted to break me. That thought sent a fresh wave of adrenaline coursing through my veins, drowning out the pain. I wouldn't allow him that satisfaction.
In that moment, I felt like a beast cornered in a cage, the primal instinct to fight clawing at my insides. I imagined the knife buried in my side as a symbol of everything I had lost because of him: my brotherhood, my trust, my very sanity. Each drop of blood that pooled at my feet felt like a sacrifice for the war I had to wage against him.
*He thinks he can hurt me?* I thought, gritting my teeth against the pain. *He has no idea what I'm capable off.* No more running. No more hesitation. Rafaelo had awoken something in me that I had kept buried beneath layers of control—an unquenchable thirst for vengeance. I would make him regret the day he crossed me, just like I would made Alec suffer for his betrayal.
Fueled by rage and desperation, I turned back to Alec, who stood frozen in terror. I fucking had to finish this,I don't care about my pain.
With a primal roar, I lunged at him, the knife still buried in my gut, and slammed it into his stomach, deep and vicious. Alec gasped, his eyes bulging in horror as I twisted the blade, feeling the muscle and sinew tear beneath my grip. Blood gushed out, splattering across my hands, warm and thick.
"You betrayed us. You fucking betrayed *me*" I growled, shoving him against the wall, his body pinned by the knife still buried in him. He choked on his own blood, his mouth opening and closing in desperate attempts to breathe, but I wasn't done. Not even close.
"Marcus trusted you, Alec,we all fucking trusted you!" I hissed, my voice low and dangerous. "He looked up to you. And you put a bullet in his back. You deserve worse than death."
Alec tried to speak, to beg, but I wasn't listening. I ripped the knife free, and before he could fall, I brought it down again. And again. And again. Each stab was a brutal release, the blade sinking deeper with every strike. Blood poured from his body, splashing across my face, my chest, my hands-an offering to Marcus's memory.
"I promised Marcus-" I spat, dragging Alec to the ground with me, my hand gripping his throat, choking the last breath from his lungs. "I'd make you suffer for what you did."
Alec's eyes rolled back, his body spasming beneath me as the life drained from him. But I didn't stop. I *couldn't* stop. Even as the light left his eyes, I kept stabbing. Again. And again. And again.
The blade sank into his chest, his stomach, his neck-anywhere I could reach. Each strike was more savage than the last, my arm moving like it wasn't even mine, like it belonged to the beast I'd become. Blood sprayed, hot and thick, painting the floor, my clothes, my skin. His body was nothing but a ruined mess beneath me, but I kept going. Every thrust of the knife was for Marcus and for the betrayal that had shattered our brotherhood.
"Marcus... deserved better than this" I growled through gritted teeth, driving the knife in again, feeling it hit bone. Alec's body twitched one last time, a pathetic reminder of the life I'd ripped from him. But even dead, he wasn't free from me.
