Alora was dressed in a baby pink and white bunny onesie, her hair french braided down her back and her feet covered in her white bunny slippers, she was seated on the living room floor of the Mathew's home with Topanga and Cory sat at the kitchen table and Riley sitting on the arm of the couch.
"Family game night!." Cory cheered as he brought a big bowl of popcorn over to the living room table. "My favorite time of the month. Just me, my family, and my jammies."
Alora smiled at her uncle as she ate some of the popcorn from the bowl while Riley marched towards her father. "Why do you make such a big deal about game night?"
"Because game night is sacred, Riley." he explained to his eldest. "I know this is gonna come as a shock to you, but there will be a day that you will choose your friends over your family."
"Not that you don't already." Topanga pointed out just as Maya opened the door and walked in.
"Did you tell him?" the blonde asked with a smirk. "Did he freak out? Did she tell you?' she asked towards Cory.
Alora and the Mathew's parents looked to one another confused while Riley had a look of guilt on her face. "Riley, you didn't." Topanga groaned as she understood what was going on.
"Why would Uncle Cory freak out?" Alora asked.
"Yeah," Cory agreed before his face took on a look of understanding and suspicion. "What did you do?"
Riley just smiled as the door opened again but this time in walked Cory's newly turned 17 year old brother, Josh with Auggie sitting on his shoulders.
"Family game night!" Auggie cheered "Now with extra family." Josh finished for the little boy.
Maya bit her bottom lip and twirled her hair. "Well, hello." she flirted. She has had a crush on the older boy since she saw him at Christmas.
Alora and Riley both rolled their eyes at the blonde before Alora left her seat and walked over to the older boy.
"Hey, Joshey." she smiled at the taller boy who smiled back. "Hey, beautiful." Josh winked at her and Maya's smile fell from her face.
"Auggie didn't want to miss game night." Josh told his older brother. "WE never made it out of the city, and here's your money." He passed Cory a bill.
"This is a dollar, I gave you a hundred."
"You expect us not to get steaks with that kind of money?"
Auggie held out a styrofoam box no one noticed he was holding and handed it to Alora before sitting next to her and rubbing his stomach in satisfaction. "Thank you, Papa."
Alora laughs as she opens the container and happily claps her hands. "Thank you for the strawberry chocolate cheesecake, boys." She wiggles in her seat before using the spoon and tasting the delectable dessert.
Riley watches the biracial girl with narrowed eyes before turning to her Uncle with a smile. "What did you bring me, Uncle Josh?"
"Well, nothing." the older boy told her. "When Auggie tried to ask you if you wanted us to bring you anything back you kicked him out of your room, so you got what you asked for, nothing." he turned back around to face his brother while Riley got a kicked puppy look on her face.
"You know what!?" Cory throws his hands in the air with a smile. "My brotha!" he cheers.
"Ma brotha!" Josh copies as the two embrace and laugh.
"Listen, you are family , you are here for game night."
The intercom buzzes. "Farkle"
"And Lucas."
