Early rays of sunlight peak the tree canopy little beams reach the forest floor laminating the path ahead . A mature beastmen trundled along with not a care it the world .
Not much can faze him his only entering this particular area to relieve his boredom and hopefully gaining a few emeralds by taking down colossus on the agenda , A plain of offering to a female that can catch his attention as a mating gift formulated .

The handful of females within his village or the other villages around are definitely not in contention , he will need to continue his journey travelling to bigger villages or maybe to Beast City ? Bears aren't inherently sorted after spouses. Their large stature in both beast & beastmen turn many females away . The need for hibernation leaves one less line of defence , significantly wittles down the chance of winning a females affection further. He spent his time focusing on building his strength to improve his ability to be valued, and now peaked as a Tetra marked beastmen, surely success is on the horizon.

His not a young beastmen, 35 seasons of age , and the passage of time helped him to restrain his temper, setting it into a torpid state , giving him a calm personality. The daily squabbling among males , fighting for favour without doubt, he believes would remain unruffled . The conviction that a female will indulge her ideal male regardless of infighting is a mantra he holds deep in his core , and mosly his to lazy to care otherwise . Traits that he will benefit from in the family he will join, he tells himself . Albeit his dream life, he'd be that fortunate male !
A few cubs would be good, too . All he can do is take it one day at a time and pray to the beast. God fate shines on him .

Pressing on through the undergrowth scenting the air sporadically looking for the hunt that will aid his future. Not picking up the oder of the ugly overgrown lizard creature, he ventures deeper. Soft crunching of the leaves underfoot and the harmony of the forest life in the distance is his only companion.

By the afternoon, he managed to gain a result! Tracking a small herd of colossus for over an hour before cutting off a young one from the rest and taking it down . The damn thing put up one mean struggle, though ! Drained from the battle, he takes stock of himself. Only a little banged up ....nothing major. These wounds will heal well, and relatively quickly.....tsk! the perks of 4 marks !! Looking at the sky, it's getting late, but there should be enough time to find water and a good place to camp for the night , his bounty now secured he set out .

Another hour of walking, he hears water ahead . Picking up the pace, a small smile graces his face ,he makes good time. A relaxing swim sounds like a good idea , catching a few fish while his at it for dinner.

The cool breeze danced across the water and Kadir in his beast form is feeling like a cub happily hunting a meal when his ears caught the sound first, a laugh it was not a sound that should be in these parts as it was definitely female! His fur bristles as his nerves react to feeling the approaching presence of another Tetra beastmen . He quickly starts scenting to figure out how many a heading his way . Mentally preparing for the possibility of showdown with overzealous males trying to show off to the female to win favour. Yet confusion hits him as there's only 2 scents he can pick up . One very strong, obviously the beastmen.... tiger ... yep tiger.... the others faint and heavily masked with the males, but he can still pick it up, and it smells good ... really good . A lot better than any female his sniffed before .

The sounds become louder, and his now completely focused on the tree line, eager to get a glimpse of the female that smells like that . Adrenaline is high in his body when the duo appears the tiger sqints at him noting his presence and let's out a low warning growl he pats the water indicating to the male his just here for food not a fight .
Kadir then brings his attention to the female on the beasts, back his breath catching. OH, BEAST GOD, she's stunning. !!!

"Win ... you can let me down now , my bath is calling." She giggles. It's like a melody. Unbeknownst to him, his stubby bear tail is thumping side to side a tell tale sign of his attraction towards the tiny female. Please let her look at me !!!! . His eyes soaked in every detail of her from her long white locks down to her tiny feet . He was completely captivated . He continued watching as her and the tiger went about their own business enjoying the cool water .

Hmmmm, she only seems to have the one male so far as there is only 1 beast scent on her, and only a single mate marking is visible. She clearly values her male with the placement .... understandable his strong like himself . But his scar ? Confused aren't females disgusted with males mared with scars even more so as this is on his face ? If she values him regardless of his obvious flaws, could she do the same towards me with mine ? Lost in his own thoughts, he missed Ari's curious looks towards him.

After a while of inner debates, he made a choice and moved towards the bank, shifting into his beastmen ignoring the obviousmurderous glare form the other male announced "female I'm Kadir Tetra marked bear beastmen of the bear tribe and I would like to court you "
