Schools over. Everyone is walking on eggshells around Orion and Charlie. We don't have practice till next Monday. Thank God, I think Orion and Charlie would just have another spat.

Connie and I are going to babysit my little sister, Gabby and my cousin, Bryce. They are both 6, and a ton of work. Connie is great with kids, plus Gabby idolizes her.

I head to Connie's dorm and knock on the door. Linda answers.

"Hey Linda, is Con around?" I rock back and forth on the balls of my feet.

"Mhm. Sorry about your game last night..." she shrugs. She doesn't like hockey, she only went to watch Charlie and he acted like a complete asshat.

"Eh, we'll win our next one." I smile.

"Yes, yes we will." Connie walks to the door putting her jacket on. "Okay, let's go! I'll be back later Linda." she joins me in the hall and we head outside.

We walk to a bus stop and wait.

"Mom! We are here." I yell out as soon as we walk into the door.

"GUY!!!" I see Gabby running down the hall. Before I can even take my shoes and jacket off, she is already jumping into my arms giving me a hug.

"I've missed you too Gabs." I put her on my hip. "I brought a friend..." I grin.

"Gabby girl!" Connie emerges from behind me.

"CONNIE!" Gabby shrieks in my hear. I put her down to let her and Connie mingle.

"Bryce! Where are you buddy?" I yell out walking into the living room. I can see him giggling under a pillow on the couch. Not wanting to ruin his game, I play along. "Well... since I can't find him I guess I'll just sit here!"

"No Guy! It's me silly!" Bryce is giggling.

"What? No way." I pick him up over my shoulder.

"Superman! Superman!" he gets excited.

We play around for a bit with the kids before putting them to sleep. There bedtime is 9:00pm since it is a weekend.

It's now 10:30. We are just waiting for my mom to get home. She had to fill in for a coworker.

Connie and I are on the couch watching tv. Sitting quite close, but neither of us think anything of it. We broke up before team USA asked us to play. We were dating from ages 9-12, pretty solid for kids.

"Come one guys. Wake up." My mom is now standing in front of us. Connie, who fell asleep on my shoulder slowly wakes up and realizes we are still on my couch.

She slowly turns her head to look at me with a big grin on my face to mock her. "Oh shut up. This stays between us."

My mom drove us back to school. It doesn't make sense to me how we have dorms.

I wake up to Dwayne strumming his guitar in my ear.

"Dwayne. It is a Saturday, let me sleep in." My voice is groggy. Dwayne is just laughing at me.

"No rest for the wicked my friend. Besides it's 9:30. Shower up, we got plans." He places his guitar on his bed, right before he drags me out mine.
