Finally, we were at peace, darkness seemed to pull us into its embrace. we fell and burnt and drowned, some of us were shot, mauled, stabbed or poisoned. For all of us it was night, though for some of us it was, cold, hot, drizzling, smoky, misty or stormy. We were all ready to be gone none of us had any regrets or remorse. We all knew it would be painful in some way or form. There was some blood, and our deaths were relatively fast, not as fast as we would like though. Suddenly we were all gone, and smoke started to cloak us, and we disappeared into the night.

Creaking, falling, burning, dying, stabbing, poisoning, storms, fog, smoke, rain, night, mist, cold, hot, it was all too much! There was pain but no pain no remorse or regret but pain! We were hurting but we were fine, we were falling seconds ago but no we were burning, weren't we lying in bed? No, we were in an alleyway! That can't be right we were in a forest. There was a bear but there was a person, no there was only us. There was a breeze but there was rain, no there was no rain it was a clear night. We were angry but we were scared, no we were calm. We stood but we were in a dark room most of us could not see very well some of us needed glasses. We could make out the outline of a door. We ran as fast as we could to get out the door but soon there was a scream and a burning pain no a freezing pain wait that isn't right were we falling we did not know any more. There was a roar not a scream could it be a bear or a person, no it was likely the scream was us.

We opened the door and there was fire, no, a bear it could be a roof top or bedroom, the room disappeared, and we fell into darkness once again. This was a familiar feeling we all knew it darkness was a friend, an enemy, a bystander it was what kept us awake and what sent us to sleep. Our lives were many there had to be at least thirteen of us, but we somehow controlled ourselves and our sanity. There was much confusion and again we remained sane or were we sane perhaps we were still among the living, and this was a drem it could be real though we would never know there was so much pain and confusion that we had to just let go now we would be at peace but perhaps we would awaken to family, no we would forever be lost. There was fog and a figure emerged from the shadows it was tall and thin we could see bones. It was not death though death had claimed us years ago this suffering a bright light appeared, and we emerged into the world once more to suffer and eventually die.
