Do better today,

make me proud

- Mother

The note read. I didn't even hear her come home last night, she must've gotten back late. It was 7:45 in the morning. School starts at 8:25, it takes 5 minutes for me to walk to the metro station, 3 minutes for the train to come and a good 15 minutes - if not longer - for the train to reach UA station. I'd still have some time before class starts so I could stop by the cafeteria to pick up something to eat. I usually skip breakfast, however after yesterday, I got the feeling that I would need all the energy I could get. I made my way over to the metro and waited for the train to arrive. Once it did, I hopped on and sat still as it transported me to my high school.

I walked down the halls of the school and towards the cafeteria, I had stopped by the classroom earlier to put my bag down at my desk and as I suspected, I was the only one there at this time. I entered the cafeteria, scanning the boards for an option before choosing to go with a strawberry frozen yogurt bowl topped with granola, fruits and sugar. I payed for my food and took it with me as I sat on a table close to the window. I was scrolling through my phone and eating my breakfast when I heard a palm hit the table next to me. I looked to my left and I saw the spiky, blonde haired boy hovering above me.

"What are you doing here?!" he asked with a hint of surprise in his tone

"Eating breakfast?" I told him in a questioning tone, wondering if he had seen the bowl of food I had in front of me or if he really was just slow in the head.

"I can see that stupid, I mean why are you sitting here. This is my spot." He declared as if he owned the place.

"First of all, how can you claim a spot in a public canteen, I mean if it had been like a month maybe you could've, but come on man its the second day!! And secondly, I am not stupid!!"

"Yeah right, you're so fucking stupid that it physically hurts" He said with a scoff "anyways, move" he demanded.

"No" I simply smiled at him and turned my focus back to my phone and half eaten fro-yo bowl.

"Tch, fine" He said and moved to the opposite side of the table and plonked himself down on the cushioned seat. I wasn't expecting him to give in so quickly but i'm glad he did, I don't think I have the energy to put up much of a fight this early in the morning. We sat in silence for about 10 minutes before I got up to put my now empty bowl away. He followed in suit and put away his empty dish and we both walked back to class.

"Hey glowstick" he called out to me

"I have a name you know" I responded

"Well it must not leave much of an impression seeing how fast I forgot it" He said with a stern look on his face, but I could tell he was teasing.

"Or you're just slow and forgetful" I snarked back as we reached the class door

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME!?" he yelled as we made our way into the almost full classroom. At the sound of Bakugo's voice, everyone turn to look at us. I payed no mind to it as I walked over to my seat and greeted my fellow peers with a smile.

"WHAT'RE YOU ALL LOOKIN' AT!" Clearly he wasn't as chill about the attention as I was, even though he was the one who caused it in the first place. Everyone who was staring soon turned away at Bakugo's yell and went back to their own business.

"Yo (Y/N), What's up? How come you're coming in with Bakugo?" I heard the voice on my right call, I looked over to see Kaminari looking at me suggestively, moving his eyebrows up and down. I sighed at his gestures, chuckling slightly to myself before responding.
