Jungkook headed down the hallway, his thoughts lingered on Jisoo. Junghyun followed Jungkook instantly, his head was slightly bowed down as he walked behind him.

Jungkook seemed to be consuming the light from the surrounding like the black hole, and there was Junghyun, spreading Jungkook's consumed light and warmth like the sun.

As they entered the classroom, the students couldn't help but notice the twin's dynamic, talking about how Jungkook seemed to warn danger, and Junghyun seemed to hold kindness.

Jungkook rested in his desk, Junghyun's desk was aside of him.

Jungkook could sense Jisoo coming before she even stepped into the classroom, her bubbly energy was practically an assault on his senses. He sat at his usual spot in the back of the class, arms crossed, hood pulled up over his dark hair, and eyes narrowed, like a thundercloud ready to storm.

Junghyun was seated beside him, dutifully taking notes as usual. He looked up the moment Jisoo burst through the door again, her laugh echoing through the classroom as she greeted everyone in her path. Jungkook could practically feel his brother's mood brighten again the second she entered, just alike the first encounter with her few minutes ago.

Jungkook heard Jisoo chirping like an ugly bird, "Hey, Junghyun!"

Ugh! Not again! This girl is eating his brain. Even though she was greeting his twin, not him, the thought of Junghyun talking with her, made him choke.

"Did you do that English essay? I swear, that thing nearly melted my brain," Jisoo said to Junghyun, her voice wasn't leaving the same liveliness and cheerfulness of the morning.

Junghyun smiled softly, "Yeah, I finished it last night. Want me to take a look at yours?"

"Would you? You're a lifesaver!" Jisoo beamed, completely ignoring the dark presence beside Junghyun.

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, fixing Jisoo with a stare cold enough to freeze an entire classroom, "Do you always talk this much?"

Without missing a beat, Jisoo whipped around, her eyes gleaming with mock surprise, "Oh my god, you speak? I was beginning to think you were a really well-dressed statue."

Junghyun choked on a laugh, quickly hiding it behind his hand. Jungkook's jaw clenched as he shot his twin a glare. Traitor.

"Don't you have something better to do?" Jungkook growled, crossing his arms and trying his best to block out her presence.

Jisoo placed a finger on her chin, pretending to think, "Hmmmmm....nope! I think annoying you is my top priority today. You're so grumpy. Ever think about smiling? It won't kill you, you know."

"I'm not grumpy!" Jungkook snapped, his voice clipped, "I just don't like you."

The room fell into an awkward silence, and Junghyun shifted uncomfortably in his seat, sensing the tension. But Jisoo didn't seem fazed at all. In fact, she just leaned in closer to Jungkook's desk, peering up at him with a mischievous grin, "Aw, don't be like that, Kookie. I'm growing on you. You'll see."

The nickname Kookie hit him like a slap to the face. His cold exterior faltered for a moment. His eyes widened, and before he could even react, Jisoo turned back to Junghyun, already diving into another conversation about their group assignments as if nothing had happened.

Jungkook stared at back at her, utterly baffled. How did she manage to slip past his cold exterior so effortlessly? And why did it bother him that she wasn't afraid of him?
