Just A Dream

The purple bunny

She was crying her eyes out - I mean, absolutely bawling. Danno just stood there, completely lost. I mean, he'd seen plenty of rabbits before, but they were just... normal rabbits. Not purple ones wearing dresses and walking around like tiny people. He gingerly touched her shoulder to try and get her attention. She immediately glanced up. "Whoa," he thought. "Her face even LOOKS human." "...Um..." he said softly. "Are you okay? Are there any other...bunnies around?" She sniffed. "Yes..." she said slowly. "I was here with my mommy, but—but I...I heard you talking, and I wanted to see what you were doing, but now I can't find her anywheeeeeere!" Danno shoved his hands in his pockets to avoid putting them over his ears. "Um...do you need my help?" She nodded. "Yes...okay..." said Danno, getting up. "Let's go look over at the doctor's office...she might be over there." "...Okay..." she said. Suddenly Danno heard a familiar voice; it sounded panicked. "DANNY!?" DANNY WHERE ARE YOU!? "WHERE DID YOU GO!?" It was his mom. "HEY MUM!" Danno called. "I'M JUST OVER HERE! BY THE WAITING ROOM!"

********************************************************************************************** His mom came storming over like a tornado. "WHERE WERE YOU!?" She yelled, "YOU JUST DISAPPEARED!" "Mum, calm down," he said. "I was just helping—" He looked over to the bunny girl, but she was gone. "Where did she go?" he asked worriedly. "Danny..." she said slowly. "Are you okay?" "I..." He paused. The bunny girl wasn't here anymore. How could he make his mom believe that he'd seen an anthro rabbit who was purple, not black, white, or any shade of gray or brown, and wore a DRESS? "Nothing..." he mumbled. "I...I just wandered off...I shouldn't have done it..." Danno's mom sighed. "You...just...just don't do it again..." Danno nodded. "I won't..."
