The night was still, the kind of quiet that holds its breath, waiting for something to happen. YN stood by the large window of Taehyung’s penthouse, her heart racing despite the calmness of the view outside. She had come here out of desperation, but being this close to him again, knowing what he could do to her mind and body, sent shivers down her spine.
Taehyung had always been a mystery. There was something about the way he moved, his confidence, the way his voice wrapped around her whenever he spoke—low, commanding, and yet with a hint of vulnerability he only ever showed to her. They had tried to stay apart, but the tension between them had grown unbearable, like a live wire sparking every time they were near each other.
Now, he stood behind her, close enough that she could feel the warmth of his body. His breath ghosted over her neck as he leaned in slightly, his voice deep and husky.
“You’re not here to just look at the view, are you?”
His words sent a ripple of anticipation through her. YN closed her eyes, trying to steady her thoughts, but the heat between them was undeniable.
“I shouldn’t have come,” she whispered, her voice betraying her uncertainty.
Taehyung let out a low chuckle, stepping closer until his chest lightly brushed against her back. His hand moved slowly, grazing her arm, igniting a trail of fire along her skin. He was never in a hurry, always patient, like he enjoyed watching her unravel at his touch.
“But you did. And we both know why,” he murmured into her ear, his lips barely grazing her skin, sending electricity through her veins.
YN turned around, their eyes locking in the dim light of the room. His gaze was intense, as if he could see every thought that crossed her mind. The air between them thickened with desire. She wanted to say something—anything—but the words dissolved on her tongue as he reached up to gently cradle her face, his thumb brushing over her lips.
“You think I’m going to let you walk away this time?” Taehyung’s voice was soft, yet there was an edge of possessiveness that made her pulse quicken.
YN swallowed, her breath catching as his thumb moved to her chin, tilting her face up slightly, his eyes never leaving hers. His gaze darkened, and in that moment, she knew there was no turning back.
“You and I... we were never just casual,” he said, his voice lowering even more, his lips now just a whisper away from hers. “You feel it too, don’t you?”
The question hung in the air, heavy with unspoken emotions. YN’s resolve shattered under the weight of his words. She wanted to be strong, to resist the magnetic pull between them, but the fire burning inside her was too intense, too all-consuming.
Instead of answering, she closed the distance between them, her lips crashing into his in a kiss that was filled with all the passion and frustration they had bottled up for so long. Taehyung’s hand slid to the back of her neck, deepening the kiss, his other arm wrapping around her waist, pulling her against him with a force that made her knees weak.
The world outside the window disappeared, leaving only the two of them in the heat of the moment. His hands moved with a slow, deliberate grace, exploring her body like it was something sacred. YN gasped against his lips as he gently backed her against the wall, the coolness of the surface a stark contrast to the heat building between them.
Taehyung pulled back slightly, his eyes scanning her face as if to memorize every detail. His lips were swollen from their kiss, his breathing ragged as he whispered her name—soft, but filled with a need that sent another wave of desire crashing through her.
“This time,” he murmured, his voice low and rough, “I’m not letting you go.”
