[This is humanized, but Paper is still technically made out of Paper, since it's in gijinka form]

Paper was steadily walking through the quiet street as the blue sky slowly turned into a light grey. He wasn't in too much of a rush, but he felt like he needed to get to the hotel by now. He had been gone for quite a bit and he didn't want to upset some..."certain people"...by not being there. He didn't want to deal with anything else when he came back, so he probably should've hurried up by now.

As he strolled down the street, he suddenly felt a drop of something slide down his face, jolting in surprise. He moved his own hand to wipe it, looking back at his hand. It was water. He glanced up at the sky and slowly realized that it was starting to pour, the sky getting foggier by the second. His heart slowly sped up as he turned around to find some sort of shelter.

Once he found a spot for shade, he ran under a bus stop as the rain poured down heavily. He stared at the already wet street as he sighed in annoyance. Great.

It was ironic how he was already drenched, considering he was literally made out of paper. If he had stayed outside for even longer before he realized heavy rain was coming, he would've been completely soggy. Luckily, only a part of him was covered in rain water, so it would be easier to dry himself off.

As he stared off into the distance, he tried to find his phone somewhere in his pocket. He then soon realized that he had left it in the hotel right before he left. He didn't bring an umbrella either. "Just my luck..." He muttered to himself as he settled down on the cold, metal seat behind him.

How was he gonna go back now? He couldn't just go back out and sprint to the hotel, he would be absolutely drenched by the time he arrives! He couldn't take a bus or taxi either; it was already late out, and there were absolutely vehicles in sight, just people passing by. His last resort was supposed to be his phone, but he sadly left it behind. So, he was forced to wait until the rain would finally settle down.

Just as he resigned to just wait for the harsh weather to end, he suddenly saw an awfully familiar figure walk by. As they slowly passed the bus stop, he stood up to take a better look at the figure. On cue, the figure paused for a moment to turn around to face Paper. As the shadow of the umbrella casted over their face, Paper realized it was Bomb.

"P–P–Paper? What're you doing h–here out in the rain?" He said as his voice was muffled due to the heavy rain pouring right in the area. Paper felt a pang of relief at the sight of Bomb.

"Heh– I needed to run some errands, but I forgot to bring an umbrella on the way..." Paper shuffled awkwardly as he could feel the water seeping into his own body. He would deal with that later.

"J–Jeez, no wonder." Bomb shuffled under the bus stop as he lowered the umbrella a tiny bit, avoiding hitting the roof of the shelter with his umbrella. "You wanna go back t–t–together, maybe? I don't t–think the rain's gonna s–s–stop anytime soon..." He offered as he looked over to Paper.

He wanted to protest, but there was no way he was going back without an umbrella or some sort of transport. There was no going back, might as well accept the offer to be nice, right?

"Oh, sure–!" He blurted out. fiddling with his own fingers a tiny bit.

Bomb looked around the area before grabbing onto Paper's cold hand and gently dragging him out of the bus stop, Paper's face slightly heating up. Paper could hear the drops of rain hit the ground as they slowly made their way onto the actual sidewalk, Paper's body being pressed up against the other.

They both made their way back to the hotel, the sound of the rain tapping creating a surprisingly comfortable atmosphere. Bomb had an arm wrapped around Paper's waist, trying to keep him away from the rain, or at least he tried to convince himself that was the reason.

"Hey, uuh– Why were you out here anyway?" Paper suddenly spoke up, trying to strike up conversation; the silence was making him get slightly anxious. "O-oh, y'know, just t–the usual."

"Oh, gardening then?"

"M-mhm!"

He registered the information for a moment before replying. "...Ah. I see." He looked away from Bomb's face as he stared at his surroundings. The rain was still pouring and it felt like it didn't calm down at all; it probably had gotten worse by now. The air was still freezing cold and it made Paper shiver at the feeling.

After what felt like forever, they were finally in front of the entrance of the hotel! Paper gently unlocked the door with a spare key as he went inside, the door still open.

"You're not coming inside?"

"Nope. I–I still have t-things to do outside..."

"Ah, alright then." Paper kind of wished that he would come along with him inside, but oh well. He would meet him again later anyway. "Be safe out there!"

"I–I will!" He waved as he had a small smile on his face. Paper felt a blush creep up to his cheeks as he shyly waved back, shutting the door closed. He took a look at his own body, noticing he was almost completely dry already.

...Huh.

Okay, I literally misread the request at first and thought it was OJ x Bomb. Turns out I was very wrong...! Also, I'm sorry if the request isn't very "fluffy", I couldn't resist using this silly plot [it was too ironic considering paper...is paper.]

Anyway, since I'm too much of a scaredy cat to say it directly, if your request isn't done by AT LEAST a week and I haven't updated you at all, your request won't be fulfilled. [I'm filled with anxiety every time I have to decline a request, bare with me]
