The day of Ananya's wedding dawned bright and beautiful, with the sun shining down on Panipat, bathing the town in warmth. Aditi woke up early, excitement bubbling within her, yet a nagging sense of anxiety shadowed her thoughts. Today was the day they would celebrate love, and Aditi was determined to make it perfect for her best friend.

As she rushed through her morning routine, she couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation at the thought of seeing Rohit again. Would today bring another moment of vulnerability between them? The question lingered in her mind as she slipped into her elegant lehenga, a vibrant red adorned with intricate golden embroidery. She admired her reflection in the mirror, feeling a sense of nostalgia and beauty wash over her.

Once at Ananya's house, Aditi was swept into the chaos of wedding preparations. Family members rushed about, adjusting decorations, checking catering, and keeping the flow of guests moving. Laughter and chatter filled the air, but Aditi found herself lost in her thoughts, scanning the crowd for a glimpse of Rohit.

"Looking beautiful, Aditi!" Ananya beamed as she approached, wearing a stunning bridal outfit of soft peach and gold.

"Thank you! You look absolutely radiant," Aditi replied, squeezing her friend's hand in excitement. "Are you ready for today?"

"As ready as I'll ever be! Just a bit nervous," Ananya admitted, biting her lip.

"Don't be! You're going to be amazing," Aditi reassured her.

With the wedding ceremony set to begin in a few hours, everyone was buzzing with energy. As the afternoon unfolded, Aditi helped coordinate the arrival of guests, all while hoping to catch a moment alone with Rohit. She could feel the tension building between them, and she needed to understand what it meant.

Finally, amidst the hustle, she spotted Rohit talking with a group of mutual friends. He looked sharp in a traditional kurta, his hair styled perfectly. Their eyes met, and a warm smile spread across his face, making her heart race.

"Hey, Aditi! You look stunning!" he called out, making his way over.

"Thanks, Rohit. You clean up pretty well yourself," she replied, her cheeks warming as she met his gaze.

"Ready for the chaos of the wedding?" he asked, a playful grin lighting up his features.

"Always! But honestly, I can't wait for the dance party later," she replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Rohit laughed, his expression shifting to one of seriousness. "I've been thinking about our talk last night," he said, his voice low enough to be heard over the festivities.

Aditi's breath caught in her throat. "Me too," she said, her heart racing at the implications.

But before they could delve deeper into their feelings, a loud voice interrupted them. "Rohit! Get over here and help us!" It was Ananya's father, looking flustered as he waved Rohit over.

"Duty calls," Rohit said, glancing back at Aditi, a mix of regret and determination in his eyes. "Let's talk later?"

"Definitely," Aditi replied, her heart pounding as she watched him walk away. 

The wedding ceremony began shortly after, and Aditi threw herself into her role, helping wherever needed. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and love, but Aditi couldn't shake the feeling of yearning for more than just friendship with Rohit.

As the rituals unfolded, she found herself seated beside Karan, her younger brother, who was buzzing with excitement. "Isn't this great, Aditi? Ananya looks amazing!" he exclaimed.
