I should have stayed in the closet!

Now why would I think that? Well, it all happened on one chilly evening.

I put on a sky-blue denim jacket over my white T-shirt, it matched with my blue jeans. I stared at my reflection in the mirror. My chestnut hair was growing out and I kinda liked it that way, even though my mother threatened me she'd cut it on her own. That basically sums up my whole life, there's things I wish I could do, wish I could be, but I can't. Because the world controls me.

"Admiring yourself?" A high pitched voice suddenly spoke, making me jump.

"Jesus Mia! When did you get here?"

"Just now, I wanted to see why you were taking so long," she answered and looked at me intensely while biting her lips. "You look good."

I looked up and down at her. She dressed in a short black skirt and T-shirt that revealed most of her body. I pulled her close to me and gave her a smothering kiss. The kiss deepened making her moan into my lips. She suddenly pushed me away weakly. "Not now, they are waiting for us!"

The 'They' she was talking about were my friends.

"Can't they wait?"

"You're already as late as you could be," she spoke before pulling me out of my room. I closed the door as I stepped outside,

"Damn bro, what took you so long?" Jason asked immediately as he spotted me.

"Sorry about that bro, got carried away," I admitted.

"Whatever, now get in, will you?"

Jason started the car, me and Tessa I got in the back seat. I fist bumped Roderick and Killian. We were heading to a local amusement park, the perfect place to have fun. Trust me, the gloomy weather only adds to the ambience.

"Baby," Mia whined.

"what?" I gave her a confused stare. She leaned close to me and grabbed my face and captured my lips again.
This time she used her tongue and invaded my mouth.

"Don't start fucking here, you horny bastards," Killian spoke up, making us break the kiss. Mia gave him a glare before leaning back to the seat.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy any of this. I was doing it all to prove a point, that I am straight. I know how cruel it is, I am hurting Mia and she doesn't even know. My friends are Mia's friends too and that's what scares me the most, if I hurt her, they'll turn on me.

Well, maybe I don't love her, but I do like her as a person.

After joking around and bickering, we finally pulled up to the destination. The wind swept through my hair as soon as I stepped out of the car, it was cold as fuck. Maybe I should have just stayed at home.

"Let's go!" Roderick shouted, already sprinting toward the ticket booth. I followed, trying to match his energy.

I noticed how Mia hugged herself as she walked. I took off my jacket and covered her with it, she slid in her arms and hugged the jacket tightly.

"Thanks."

We finally entered the park after what felt like forever. The air was thick with the smell of popcorn and the sound of laughter. The arcade was our first goal, inside, bright colored lights flashed from every corner, illuminating the faces of my friends as they dove into the games.

"Come on, let's play some Dance Dance Revolution!" Mia exclaimed, pulling me toward the dance.

"Sure, let's do it!" I said, forcing a smile. I stepped onto the platform, the music blaring in my ears, drowning out my thoughts. As the arrows flashed on the screen, I focused on the rhythm, trying to lose myself in the beat.

After a few rounds, we took a break, and I leaned against the wall, trying to catch my breath. Jason and Killian were engrossed in a racing game, their competitive banter filling the air. Mia joined them, and I watched her laugh, her eyes sparkling with joy. It was moments like these that made me question everything. Why couldn't I just be happy? Why did I have to hide?

We had soft drinks and fast food, we got on rides and had a great night over-all. By the time we decided to head back it was about 10:45.

"Yo, how about some popcorns?" Roderick suggested. I looked at him in disbelief, I swear he's an elephant.

"Really Rod? Do you want to get sick?" I replied.

"Come on Wyatt, we are here to have fun," Killian shot back.

"Yeah well, whatever. You gonna go back in?" I gave in.

"Nah, there's a shop over there," he pointed out.

"I swear Rod never stops eating. He's like an elephant," Mia said.

"I was about to say that," I beamed. She chuckled at my reaction.

We tried to follow him, but he had gone way ahead of us, his figure fading into the mist.

"Yo Jason," someone suddenly called. I looked to see a group of guys sitting on a bunch of motorcycles, eagerly looking at us.

"Kev my man!" Jason spoke as he walked towards the guys.

I swear Jason knows every single person on this planet. God knows how long we have to wait here while he catches up with them.

"I knew it would be you, these fuckers didn't believe me," the guy, Kev, spoke.

"Yeah?" Jason laughed, "How long you guys been out here?"

"For a while, we are planning on a night trip," Kev spoke.

"That's cool bro, I haven't rode on one of these in years," Jason motioned towards the motorcycle. "And by the way, this is Wyatt, and that's his girl Mia."

The guy extended his hand and I took it, "Kevin, nice to meet you."

"Like wise,"

"Madam," he nodded to Mia, acknowledging her.

"This caught my eye," Jason began, touching one of the bikes. "New?"

They went on and It looked like everyone was interested in it. Except me, Where the fuck is rod, I thought.

I looked over to the shops, he was nowhere to be found. I shifted my attention back to the guys, but someone in particular caught my attention. He was leaning comfortably on a motorcycle, arms crossed against his muscular chest, focusing intensely on the conversation. My eyes drifted all over his body. His biceps flexed through his black T-shirt. His forearms were decorated in tattoos.

And that face. Fuck, he was hot.

His hair was short and slicked back, giving him a polished look that contrasted with the casual vibe of the group. His eyes were ice blue. His soft pink lips curved into a smirk as he laughed at something one of the guys said, and the slight stubble on his jawline only added to his rugged charm.

I quickly looked away, worried someone might notice me staring. I tried to listen to whatever Jason was saying to the others, but after a minute, I couldn't help but sneak another peek at the guy. This time, he was looking right at me.

My heart raced, and my mouth felt dry, he was staring straight at me. I swallowed hard, and he kept his gaze locked on mine, as if the rest of the world had faded away. My eyes wandered as he licked his lips. Jesus Christ, that was hot. It was a simple gesture, but it made my gay heart dance around.

I looked back at him, and it felt like he was putting on a show just for me. The way he leaned back, relaxed yet confident, made my stomach flutter. I tried to refocus, but I was all flustered. His attention made my heart warm. Maybe I was reading too much into it, or it wasn't meant for me at all.

I didn't even notice that Mia wasn't near until her figure caught my eye, she was walking towards the shop. I hope she hadn't noticed anything. I decided to quietly slip away too. I went to a distance and stared at the bushes. My mind was still in the midst of processing everything.

"It's getting dark, huh?"
