CHAPTER 7

In The Dorms

"IT'S ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT!" Jihoon yelled at Soonyoung as he stood up from his place and dashed towards him. He grabbed the older's collar as he shook him, tears flowing from both of their eyes.

"If-if yo-you never jud-judged hi-him not-nothing wou-would have happened!" Jihoon blamed the older for the death of their hyungs..."I-I...." Soonyoung sluttered as he took in Jihoon's words, his heart was refusing to believe that they were dead...

"Jihoon ca-calm down!" Wonwoo said as he tried to seperate the two. "No-no you don-don't understand hy-hyung! If he never blamed Cheol then nothing would have happened!" Jihoon said as he glared at Soonyoung with hatred.

"Jihoon...please calm down..." Wonwoo almost begged the younger to calm down but the younger male was not backing down, he was determined that Soonyoung was at fault for everything that happened today.

"Ji-Jihoon-ah.." Joshua called out as he came near them, he was a total mess right now. Tear-striken face, his clothes wrinkled, he was trembling as he spoke, he lost the two most important people in his life the same day...so did the others..

"What?!" Jihoon asked as he glared at the older, his voice full of hatred, Joshua's eyes widened at Jihoon's attitude. He never heard Jihoon talk in this way to any of them even if they had a arguement.

"I-I.." Joshua sluttered as he looked at Jihoon, his voice almost came out as a whisper.

"You don't have to act hyung!" Jihoon said in a mocking tone as he rubbed his tears. "You all are at fault for believing him!" He said as he pointed at Soonyoung and then glanced at each of them in the room.

"I don't understand how they even loved someone like us..." Jihoon said as he walked to their group photos. He stroked the photo gently where the both of them were sitting, their hyungs left them...Was this destiny?

Jun came near Joshua and patted the older's shoulder, they shared a glance at each other and then looked at Jihoon who was busy caressing the two older's photo.

"They should have been here..not us, we don't even deserve to live anymore.." Jihoon said sadly as tears started to make their way through once again.

Minghao stood up from his place and walked to Jihoon slowly, all of them looked at the latter not sure of what he was thinking.

Minghao tapped the older's shoulder to get a response and as soon as Jihoon turned around, Minghao hugged him as he started sobbing quietly. Jihoon's eyes widened at first but soon the hug broke the dams he's been holding after getting the news...

All of them were crying uncontrollably at this point, it was hard but they eventually accepted that it was the truth that they are dead...Mingyu came back with Chan just to see the others in a crying mess...

"Guys...?" Mingyu called out to the others, his voice wavering as he spoke in a quiet manner....Both of them spotted Minghao hugging Jihoon as the older kept crying.

Mingyu looked at Chan who was in a shock seeing all the older members like this...He believed that the two older were playing an awful prank as always and trying hard to make them believe that its the truth...But seeing the others in such state he was sure...that it wasn't a prank...

Wonwoo walked up to the duo and glanced at them with teary eyes as he proceeded to hug them...Both of them understood that they were really gone...there was no turning back, it was the truth...

Chan sniffled a little which brought the attention of everyone in the room to the youngest, they stared at him as he cried....They knew that consoling won't work as this gap couldn't be mended by them...

Timeskip

It was almost 1am now...and they were heading to the accident scene with their manager...The internet was in an uproar by now..

The news of the death of the two eldest members of Seventeen has caused the fans to lose their cool...The fans were not accepting it, for them this was all fake...They never could have imagined the sudden death of two members of a group like this in the middle of the night...Some even claimed it to be fake but again some believed it...

"Guys..." the manager called out as he glanced at the boys who almost looked lifeless...

Joshua knew that he had to answer as he was the oldest now...He looked at the manager with his dead eyes as he mustered the strength to tell him to continue..

"You need to be strong now...we'll reach in a few minutes..." the manager said as he looked at each of their scared faces...

Soon their van pulled over, their heartbeat became faster as the manager got out of the car to talk with the investigators....The manager came back in and breathed heavily "Let's go...."

In the medical unit

"There's something you need to know..." Jin said as he glanced at Jeonghan, the said latter slightly nodded as he indicated the older to continue.

Jin sighed in relief as Jeonghan agreed to him easily but even if he didn't then he knows how to get his way out.

"Alright...first let me call them too..." Jin said as he started to leave the room.

"Wait! who are you calling?" Jeonghan asked confused.

"The ones who saved you..." Jin said as he smiled proudly after which he rushed out to call the younger trio.

After a few minutes, Jin came in with the three of them. Jeonghan stared at them as they got in the room. He felt uneasy as he didn't knew any of them but he thought that they were good people...

"Uh-umm...Thank you for saving us..." Jeonghan awkwardly thanked the trio as he bowed slightly.

"That's no big deal there! Anyways I'm Jeon Jungkook!" Jungkook greeted as he made Jeonghan sit on the bed.

"Uh..I'm Yoon Jeonghan..." Jeonghan introduced himself as he shaked Jungkook's hand..His attitude reminded Jeonghan of Seokmin...

"Hello there...I'm Taehyung!" Taehyung shaked Jeonghan's hand as he slightly smiled at him...

"I'm Min Yoongi...I hope you are okay now" Yoongi introduced himself from a distance..

Jeonghan nodded slightly "I'm fine now...that's a thanks to you all..." He gave them his angelic smile, he was thankful to them..They all returned a genuine smile to him..

"Umm...Are our friends here or anyone..?" Jeonghan questioned quietly and the atmosphere became tense. All the four shared a glance with each other while Jeonghan looked at them expectantly.

"Um...We need to talk about that only.." Jin said as he slowly walked towards Jeonghan and sat on the nearby stool...

"Oh..you need their numb-" Jeonghan was cut off in mid sentence.

"No...that isn't the case..." Jin said as his expression darkened which scared Jeonghan out of his wits..

"Wh-what do you mean th-then..?" Jeonghan sluttered out, he was scared at the sudden change in Jin.

"Jeonghan...you two can't call anyone nor go out from here...forever" Jin said to which Jeonghan turned his head to him in utter surprise.

"Wh-what?!"
