2 years later, planet Ilum–

The freezing wind cut through the air stinging my cheeks and whipping my braided hair around. I pull my cloak closer to my body and take in the view of the kyber crystal Temple.

"Remember your training, find your crystal and when your fear shows it's self to you be brave and overcome it. I believe in you little Kybuck, you can do this."

I smile and hug my master, "Thanks old Tooka, I'll make you proud, I promise." I vow, he ruffles my hair,

"You already have. I just can't wait to see what your lightsaber's like. Alright time for you to go in, see ya soon." I nod and make my way into the colossal cliff.

It's dark except for some light coming from a few scattered crystals. Alex... I feel a pull leading me deeper into the caverns.

After a few minutes of walking I reach a great cave full of crystals like stars in the night sky.

Alexandria... I feel the force guiding me to a crystal high up on the wall. I scal the wall and pry the crystal out,

"She's gone? Well that's a relief, she was so annoying. Calling us vod all the time. Ha! As if we would ever think of her as a sister." I hear a familiar voice say, the hairs on the back of my neck raise,

"A padawan? But I don't want her as a padawan masters, can I take that scrawny weak looking fellow instead? He would make a much better apprentice than this girl."

My breath catches and I leap to the ground, "Y-you don't mean that master Tonwa." He turns to look at me with a cruel snear on his face,

"You are nothing but a thorn in my side. I could be doing so many better things with my time if I didn't have to train you."

I flinch, "He's right you know, I can't believe I'm even friends with you. It's only because I pity you." Anakin appears at behind me,

"N-no you're not real, neither of you are real." They ignite their lightsabers, "Then fight us." They say in union and start attacking me,

I dodge and evade their attacks as best I can but they just keep coming, harming me with both their words and weapons.

"You'll never be good enough." "Never make it as a Jedi." "Even your own family didn't want you." "Why do you think you were sent to us."

Tonwa finally stabs me in the chest a horrible smile growing on his face, then Anakin plunges his saber into my stomach also smiling. "Goodbye Alex."

"NO!" I shriek, my eyes snapping open. I whip my head around in terror but I'm alone in the cave, alone and whole.

I sigh and wip some tears away, Alex... I whimper, another crystal was calling to me. I make my way carefully to the second one,

it was growing from the ground. With a sigh I tug it out of it's spot. "It's too bad you never came home. We never stoped waiting for you." I know that voice, I turn and see...

"No." I gasp awake, blinking away tears I look around, still in the cave. I sigh and stand up. It's time I get out of this terrible temple.

I jog back outside, covering my eyes with my hands as the sunlit snow blinds me. "Alex! How was it? Did you get your crystal?"

I hear Tonwa ask and feel him put a hand on my shoulder, I nod, "I got two, they both called to me." I squint up at him, and see his grin,

"That's great! Come on let's head back to Corascant so you can make your sabers!" He pulls me back to our ship and off the freezing planet.
...

"How about this?" Tonwa holds out a piece of mettle, I shake my head for what felt like the thousandth time, "No." He sighs,

"This one?" "No." I can see him physically holding back a scream,

"Maybe we should take a break?" I suggest, he takes a deep breath and nods, "Yeah that's a good idea. Why don't you go to your room and meditate, think of your lightsabers, let the force guide you."

I nod and wander back to my room, crystals in hand. I flop down face first on my bed with a groan, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this. I pull myself up into a sitting position and take a deep breath.

"Ok lightsaber, show yourself to me." I mutter, ...and parts for a lightsaber if you need it...

I gasp, my eyes snapping open at the flash of a memory, the bag! The bag I never opened! I look around wildly for it but can't find it.

I close my eyes and imagine it opening and giving me the lightsaber parts I need. I peek an eye open and shriek in joy when I see it had worked.

lying on the bed before me were two pearly white lightsaber handles as well as all of the parts I needed for them. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I use the force and quickly but carefully create my weapons.
...

"Master! Master! Look, I've done it! I have my very own lightsabers now!" I scream when I see Tonwa, he leaps into the air at least five feet and lands with eyes the size of saucers and a hand to his chest.

"Wha- don't scare me like that ki- wait did you say you finished them!?" He's suddenly right in front of me with an excited grin replacing his terror.

I nod and show them off to him, "Wowhoho! That's quit the sabers, little Kybuck. I've never seen any like them before! Good job kid. have you turned them on yet?" I shake my head,

"No not yet, I wanted you and Grandmaster to be there when I did." He smirks, "Aww Kybuck, if you wanted to kill us you could've just gotten Obi to let you borrow his lightsaber."

I wack his arm playfully, "But I wanted to kill you with my own weapon and have Grandmaster video it." He put a hand to his heart dramatically,

"Oh, you hurt me so! Are you saying you love the old Reek more than your own Master?" I smirk, "Yes, he gives me sweets." Tonwa raised an eyebrow,

"Well that's not fair, he can't play favorites!" I shrug, "What can I say, he must like daughters more than sons." He rolls his eyes, "Whatever, come on Kybuck, let's go find him."
...

"Grandmaster!" I fling myself into Zianix open arms, "Kybuck! It good to see you again! My you have grown? Aren't you supposed to be eleven?"

He hugs me and ruffles my hair, I shrug, "The scanner says I'm twelve.I want to show you my lightsabers, I just made them today!"

I pull out the pure white handles and show him, "They are beautiful. What metal did you use? I don't think I've seen its like before."

He takes one in his hand to inspect it, "I don't know, but it's from my homeworld." He looks at me and carefully hands the weapon back,

"Is that so? Well have you turned the blade on?" I shake my head, "I wanted you and Tonwa to be here when it ignites for the first time."

I back a good distance away from the two men and, taking a deep breath, ignite my sabers.

The one in my right hand started out the same gray as Zianix's head spikes before it faded to white and was laced with navy blue patterns simmilare to Tonwa's montrales.

The saber in my left began with the darkest of blues and got lighter as it went up with streaks of white at the top, like looking at a storm from the depths of a sea.

"They are truly one of a kind, just like you Alex." Tonwa smiles proudly at me, "Thank you master, I hope someday I'll be as good a Jedi as you and master Zianix."

Master Zianix comes to stand in front of me and tilts my head up to look me in the eye, "I think you might just be become better than the both us."
