It had been 13 hours since they had left, and it was time to stop so that everyone could stretch and get comfy. Almost everyone would be sleeping for the next eleven hours, excluding Wither who wanted an excuse to pull an all-nighter.
Once everyone had gotten ready for bed, and Wither changed into more comfy clothes, they got the sleeping areas ready. Wither also happened to bring a lot of throw blankets, so those who were sleeping on the floor would have three throw blankets each. Niki's cousin had also loaded a closet with pillows (PILLOW CUPBOARD), so they were set.
Wither was in the driver's seat again, and everyone was in bed. Fundy and George were sat there, clicking away on their computers, each coding a new mod for Minecraft. Fundy sighed and threw his head back. He glanced over at George's screen, and perked up upon doing so.
"Wait, you code too?" Fundy asked, seemingly excited.
"Oh, yeah! I code Minecraft mods in my free time. How about you?" George was smiling.
"I do the same!"
Soon, they were fully engaged in a conversation about mods, and already making ideas to collaborate for one. It seemed like they had been talking for only three minutes, but before they knew it, it had been an hour and a half.
"Damn, it's been a whole hour now!" Fundy said when he noticed.
"Really? It didn't feel like it'd been that long." George said, surprised.
"Right? I guess we enjoy each other's company." Fundy stated. George smiled softly.
"I guess so. But we should probably get some rest. It's pretty late and there's... probably something to do tomorrow, knowing Niki and Wither." He laughed.
"True. Also knowing Wither and Niki, it's gonna be something chaotic." Fundy said as he set down his computer on the bedside table, making sure it was in a place where it wouldn't fall off through the night.
"Yeah, honestly I'm kinda scared." George said softly, also putting his computer away.
"Of what? The possible chaos?" Fundy asked.
"Well, that's partially it, but really it's because I don't want it to be weird that I'm here. I just- don't need sympathy, I guess. I don't think you guys are the type to make it like that, since you all have been acting like nothing happened, but everybody else we know has been acting weird around me, any anyone who hadn't, were ticking time bombs, you know?" George explained.
Fundy nodded. "I get it. When I broke up with him, it was the same way. Everyone tried to beat around the bush, avoiding the topic while staying on it. It made me kinda paranoid, but these guys know to avoid it fully. They know better. I know you don't hang with us that much, so you don't know our tendencies, but it's easy to catch on. Like Wither and their... how do I describe it? I think it's aggressive love." Fundy responded.
"Aggressive love? Isn't that the same as tough love?" George wondered.
"Not really. Tough love is more 'too bad, so sad, now eat your veggies.' And aggressive love is more, 'I am going to crush every bone in your body with a single hug.' Never will they ever be the parent of the group. They're the fun pibling who takes the kids out to do things their mom wouldn't. Niki is the mom." Fundy described.
George nodded. "Oh, I get it. Makes sense, given their spontaneous personality." He agreed.
They continued to chat while they settled in, talking about the tendencies of those close to them, and their relationship dynamics. After about fifteen minutes, Fundy yawned.
"I think we should probably get some rest. It's getting really late, and we got the same amount of sleep last night." He said tiredly.
George agreed, yawning as well. "Yeah. Bet you ten bucks that this'll be the best sleep we've both had since college started." Fundy smiled.
"Only if you make it ten dollars plus the other has to call Tommy gay." He bargained.
"Deal, pleasure doing business." George replied.
Soon, the duo fell into a deep, dreamless sleep, their bodies preparing for the chaos that is sure to ensue the next morning. Only to be known by them the next day, they inched closer to each other through the night, bound to wake up cuddling.
(Okay, but why was that last bit so poetic? 😓😦[Idk u tell me])
Hehehe lil gay X)
