Boy In Yellow

In the hall, he walks with ease,
Sunlight caught in threads that tease,
A golden hue, so warm and bright,
He turns the day from dull to light.

His laughter dances, light as air,
A melody that lingers there,
And when he smiles, the world stands still,
A spark ignites, a gentle thrill.

In crowded rooms, my heart will race,
As fleeting glances find their place,
The boy in yellow, soft and bold,
A story waiting to be told.

With every word, a sweet refrain,
A whisper hidden in the rain,
What secrets lie behind those eyes?
A thousand dreams, a million sighs.

Each chance encounter feels like fate,
A moment shared, a twist of late,
Yet here I stand, too shy to speak,
A timid heart, a voice so weak.

But in this crush, a fire grows,
In shades of yellow, love bestows,
With hope I dream of what might be,
The boy in yellow, just him and me.

The Real Me

People say I look happy,
Just because I got skinny.
But they don’t see the weight I carry,
Deep inside, where shadows tarry.

The old me is still me and maybe the real me,
She knew how to dream and set herself free.
Through the haze of mirrors, I catch her glance,
A spark of life, a second chance.

And I think she's pretty, in her gentle way,
Strong like the morning that follows decay.
She never left; she stands by my side,
The real me, the one I no longer hide.
