They walked through the tunnels below the world, casting a train of eerie silhouettes, all stretched out and flickering against the cave walls. Jenna tried to focus on her companions instead of their monstrous shadows, but she couldn't stop her eyes from wandering to the rock walls, where their distorted versions twisted and hovered. Worthy's shadow was also in a spindly form and Destiny's shadow spread in the tunnel.
Destiny soon perked up and bounded away from the two of them. Jenna exchanged a concerned glance with Worthy. She didn't feel too comfortable about Destiny wandering by herself with a bunch of infected creatures on the loose.
"Destiny?" Jenna called out, searching for her spirit animal. "Where are you?"
They heard the red wolf's footsteps coming back towards them. It didn't take long for Destiny's form to be seen in front of them with an arrow in her mouth. Jenna sighed in relief and started petting Destiny.
"Where did you find an arrow girl?" Jenna watched as Destiny wagged her tail and dropped the arrow in front of Worthy.
He picked it up and his eyes widened with shocked realization. "This arrow is Talon's! She's the best archer in our group."
"Talon?" echoed Jenna curiously.
"Talon is the friend I traveled here with, the one we're searching for," Worthy replied to Jenna. He soon realized that the arrow was metallic and it was pointing to the left direction. "Look, she pointed the arrow toward this cave. She's leading us to her!"
They ran through the tunnels below the earth, casting a train of eerie silhouettes, all stretched out and flickering against the cave walls. Jenna tried to focus on her companions instead of their monstrous shadows, but she couldn't stop her eyes from wandering to the rock walls, where their distorted versions twisted and hovered. Worthy's shadow was also in a spindly form and Destiny's shadow spread in the tunnel.
But at that moment, they had entered a giant cave that had four ancient pillars in the shape of a square. Jenna frowned when she saw a giant bear walking in an abandoned courtyard. She spotted a disturbing gray spiral on the giant bear's forehead. Jenna noticed that Destiny started growling and Worthy became tense at the sight of the beast.
Jenna caught their eyes and they both exchanged a knowing glance. With a slight nod, the two partners both ran towards the infected bear together while Worthy searched for any more arrows. That's when a fierce battle has begun between the bonded partners and the infected bear. The infected bear against the young Keeper, the bear is enforced by the spiral while the other is bonded by Nectar. The bear was a strong opponent, but so was Jenna and Destiny. Her weapon clashed against the infected bear, powers against power and enemy against enemy. Destiny's agility and strength is a strong match against the infected bear's abilities. Jenna had used her skills and powers to get out of trouble more than once from bear's attempted attacks at her and Destiny. After a few more hits, there was a white flash and it turned back into an ordinary bear. Everyone watched as the bear bounded away.
"Another arrow." Worthy showed another arrow that has managed to find in the midst of the fight. "Talon must have made it past that bear at least."
"Aye, she did." Jenna sighed and gazed keenly at Worthy, wanting to know the truth of the mysterious red clad group.
"I guess I have some explaining to do," said Worthy calmly. "Come on. We'll talk more on the way." At that, the trio started walking towards the tunnel.

"Talon and I are part of a group dedicated to protecting Erdas, like you Greencloaks," Worthy explained to Jenna. "We can never show our faces... or reveal our true names."
"So, 'Worthy' isn't your true name?" asked Jenna.
"That's right. 'Worthy' is not my real—" Worthy looked ahead, his eyes gazing at the shadows. "Wait, over there! That thing is monstrous!"
But at that moment, they had entered a giant cave that had four ancient pillars in the shape of a square. Jenna frowned when she saw a giant anaconda walking in an abandoned courtyard. She spotted a disturbing gray spiral on the giant anaconda's forehead. Jenna noticed that Destiny started growling and Worthy became tense at the sight of the beast.
Jenna caught their eyes and they both exchanged a knowing glance. With a slight nod, the two partners both ran towards the infected bear together while Worthy searched for any more arrows. That's when a fierce battle has begun between the bonded partners and the infected anaconda. The infected anaconda against the young Keeper, the bear is enforced by the spiral while the other is bonded by Nectar. The anaconda was a quick opponent, but so was Jenna and Destiny. Her weapon clashed against the infected anaconda, powers against power and enemy against enemy. Destiny's agility and strength is a strong match against the infected anaconda's abilities. Jenna had used her skills and powers to get out of trouble more than once from anaconda's attempted attacks at her and Destiny. After a few more hits, there was a white flash and it had turned back into an ordinary anaconda. Everyone watched as the snake slithered away. Jenna and Destiny soon reunited with Worthy.
"Incredible," marveled Worthy, soft with amazed awe. "Incredible. I've only never met one person as gifted as you — my group's leader."
"Your leader?" Jenna echoed curiously.
Worthy nodded. "When the members of my group choose our new names, some, like me, pick virtues that we aspire to. A goal to aim for." He blinked back some incoming tears behind his mask. "'Worthy'... Perhaps someday I truly will be."
Jenna gently held his hand, her face gentle and earnest. "You already are. I can tell."
Worthy's bright golden eyes shone with emotional appreciation. "Thank you Jenna." She smiled softly at him and nodded.
