(Peter's POV)
It had been three months since Val was taken. We've checked every known Hydra base. Mr.Stark has a constant computer trying to get her location ,but nothing. I hadn't had a decent sleep since that night. I haven't stopped looking for her. I can tell that everything in the compound was dull and not just everything but everyone. No one was cracking jokes or telling funny stories. Then there was a ring of the door bell. Mr.Stark pulled up the security camera. I almost fainted seeing who it was. It was Valerie. I ran to the door and swung it open and hugged her. Everyone came to the door for hugs. "I missed y'all so much." Val said almost crying with joy. I hugged her again and spun her around. "I thought I'd never see you again. I was so worried." I said. I caressed her face. We didn't ask her what happened all that mattered was that she was here. We celebrated that night. After the party died down we watched a movie on the couch. She fell asleep on my lap while I played with her beautiful black hair. Mr.Stark came into the room and started teasing me ,but I didn't care Val was safe and thats all I needed. I eventually fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and Val was setting a tray of bacon and eggs on the small table next to me. She saw I was awake. "Oh you were still asleep so I decided to make you breakfast." She said. I kissed her cheek. It felt like her just being here brought back the joy we were missing when she was taken. I still sensed that she was quieter. I didn't ask her why in case it was a sensitive topic. She sat with me as we ate our breakfast. I looked in her mysterious eyes and all I cared about was that she was back in my arms safe I want this moment to last forever. I just couldn't understand why Hydra wanted her specifically also why she put herself in the cell. It didn't make sense. I wrapped my arms around her as she ate. "You know I love you, right?" I said. "I love you too." She said. "You seem to have something on your mind." I said. "Oh it's nothing and I'd rather not bring it up if it's okay." She replied. "You don't have to talk about it. I just want you to know that you can always talk to me and I'll listen." I said. "Thank you for being there for me." She said.
