The adrenaline coursing through me was beginning to wane, my legs growing weary as I pushed deeper into the woods. The darkness pressed in around me, and I could feel the weight of despair creeping closer. Just as I thought I could find a way out, I felt it—the sudden rush of air as he emerged from the shadows.

Before I could react, strong arms wrapped around my waist, lifting me effortlessly off the ground. Panic surged through me as I kicked and squirmed, but his grip was unyielding. In a flash, I was thrown over his shoulder, my body dangling helplessly as he started to walk away.

"Got you," he murmured, a triumphant grin spreading across his face. His voice dripped with satisfaction, as if catching me was the sweetest victory. The world around us spun as he carried me, and I could feel my heart racing in my chest.

"Let me go!" I screamed, thrashing against him, but it only earned me a hard spank on my ass. The unexpected sting jolted through me, a mixture of indignation and shock. "Don't do that!" I shouted, my cheeks flushing with anger and embarrassment.

He chuckled, the sound deep and dark, resonating in my ears. "You brought this on yourself, love," he said, his tone teasing yet possessive. "If you hadn't run, I wouldn't have to discipline you."

My pulse quickened, a blend of fear and fury coursing through me. I struggled to find any sense of composure, but every attempt to free myself only made it worse. He effortlessly adjusted me on his shoulder, holding me securely as if I were a child. The sensation of being so helpless ignited a fire of defiance within me. I couldn't let him see how much he affected me.

"I'll never surrender to you!" I spat, trying to sound strong even as my voice wavered.

"Ah, but you will," he replied, his voice laced with a chilling confidence. "I'll make sure of it. Just like I'll make you remember who you belong to."

His possessiveness hung in the air, a reminder that he was no ordinary man. As he walked through the dense forest, his grip on me felt like a chain—binding me to him, even as I fought against it. The fear of what he might do next twisted in my stomach, but there was a fire igniting within me as well.

He stopped abruptly, and I felt him adjust his hold. My heart raced as he leaned down, bringing his face close to mine, his eyes dark and smoldering with a mix of emotions that sent a shiver down my spine. "You can fight all you want, but I will always find you. This isn't a game to me; it's my reality."

I stared back at him, fury bubbling up inside me. "You're insane!" I shouted, and his lips curled into a smirk.

"Maybe," he admitted, the lightness in his tone not matching the weight of his words. "But that insanity? It's all for you."

And with that, he turned, continuing deeper into the forest, his grip unyielding. My heart raced as I realized just how far I'd fallen into his world—a world where I was both terrified and inexplicably drawn to the very man who haunted my nightmares.
