      Run. Keep running.

Those were the only words that kept screaming in Ortega's head as she breezed for an escape into the lame lighted bush. She was felt like fainting as she had been running for a very long time. She finally found a pile of rocks and his behind it. Her hands trembled as she held up her rosary to her chest and began to recite the Lord's prayers.

' Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos ..'

Somehow as She recited the prayers, She thought the noises stopped. She waited for a couple of minutes before coming out slowly from behind the rocks.

" Aah!" She yelled in pain when her hair was being yanked from behind.

"¡No! ¡No, por favor! " She broke into tears when she was being bound and blind folded. She thrashed and struggled as the person who seemed fit to be a bulky man threw her over his shoulder and she felt as he walked in a fast pace. She was led deeper into the bush and soon enough, the piece of clothing was untied from her eyes and was forcefully stripped. She fought to get free but a hand against her chest violently pushed her down. The men laid her in a tomb tying up her wrist and legs together. Hovering over her were four older men who seemed to be dressed up like priests. One of them was familiar. Ortega recognized him as one of the priest in their monastery.  She looked pleading at him to the others with tears trickling down the corners of her eyes.

" Por favor, padre. Por favor, déjame ir " Ortega whimpered as one of them used  a piece of clothing to wipe the knife in his hands with an impassive face. He didn't seem like he heard a thing and that made Ortega cried more. When he was done, he straightened up and the priest whom she had recognized opened the very big book he held. With a straight face, he looked into it and began to read.
As he read, She began to feel like the whole world was spinning around her.

" ... Acepta el sacrificio sagrado que te ofrecemos ante tu altar. Amén ?" He said and the others responded.

" Amén "

Before Ortega could scream her pleas, the knife ran down into her heart. Tearing tugging out.

' aaah! aaaah! ' She screamed in agony of the excruciating pain. Her eyes widened with each stab to her heart and that was how she died.

With eyes opened in a horror....
