Halloween Special

Freya PoV

"Ugh!" Was what I heard after I got up on Halloween. Raven was on her laptop in the livingroom, on Ash's lap. I was on the stairs dressed up in a button-up long-sleeve without shorts, just my underwear. "As many times as I tell her, "Send me an email sooner." she never does!" Raven's rage was bubbling up under the surface. I've seen it a few times, though she keeps it under wraps for the most part.

I walked over to my girlfriends humming as to not startle them. "Morning baby's" I said cheerfully as I kissed the top of Ash's head and Raes shoulder. "Morning darling..." Ash hummed. The three of us have been together for about seven months now.

Testing each other, so much so that we have specialized nicknames for each other. Rae calls me love and Ash, darling. Rae's faced switched-up immediatly. "Good morning Love, how'd you sleep?" I'm concerned about her mentality but I dare not confront her about it.

Because last time I tried she butried herself in her work, ignoring Ash and I for a week only to come back like it didn't happen. "I slept good baby, but... whats with all the yelling baby?" I asked gently. "Nothing... just a... coworker inviting me... er- us.. to a party tonight." By now Ash is coaxing Rae off her lap as I made my way around the couch.

Rae in the middle, Ash on her right, and me on her left. I gently took her laptop from her and replaced it with my head. Her body was tense, too tense. "Do you want to go?" I pegged. I know it's early but I can sleep like this. "No... but I have to..." she replied reluctantly.

"These things have a theme, no? Whats this ones theme about?" Ash asked, her head on Rae's shoulder. "I thought it was obvious. The 'theme' is a costume party." Rae answered. "Halloween related?" I queried. She nodded, "Yep. Any ideas on what to wear?" I got a impish thought just then. "Ash... can I talk to you? Alone." I asked with a cheeky smile. "Sure?"

I got up and so did Ash. We went over to the kitchen. I whispered my idea into her ear so Rae wouldn't overhear "Darling, that's a good idea." She pulled into a kiss before pulling me upstairs into the bedroom. I glanced over at Rae who was still upset about the whole thing but she was typing something on her laptop. In the bedroom Ash and I ordered  our costumes and from there we waited.

[30 minutes before the party]

"We have half an hour to be ready. Did you come up with my ideas yet? Raven asked. She was calmer about the whole she's now, but she was still annoyed. "Yes, yes, amore mio. Just put any type of dress you want and we'll meet you there." Rae rolled her eyes but changed into a stunning emerald dress the faded black.

She listened tk Ash and went to the party, reluctantly. Ten minutes after she left out costumes arrived. We quickly changed into them and caught up with her. She was outside the venue with red contacts in, which was oddly weird to me... She looked up from her phone with a slight laugh before walking over to greet us.

"My lovely angel," she said as she hugged me before moving on to Ash. "and my heavenly devil." She said with a kiss on the cheek. "Now. Whose idea was it to make me wait outside. It's fall. In France." Rae was smiling but she wad pissed.

Her eyes narrowed and the contacts upped the fear facter she was at. Rae might not be the most dominate but she can be the scariest when sje wants to be (Think the sweet friend who finally snapped). "I-" before Ash could finish her sentence Rae smacked her. "Bitch" Rae said smiling coldly.

She spun on her heel of entered the venue. "Told you." I said so a shrug. I did warn Ashley not to send her out before us. I laughed slightly
before pulling Ash with me inside, towards the heat.

We found Rae getting bombarded with questions from who I guessed to be her  coworkers friends. As we got closer I picked up questions and comments such as "Are you the real Ms. Valentine?", "No way she got her boss to come.", "Will the model and designer come too?", and "Heard that she cheated on her fiancé." Guess it's hard being that notiable and famous.

Raven, being the person she is, she put on a smile until I hugged her from behind. "Yes, Love? Something wrong?"

"No. Just wanted to hug you." Her body was cold but progressivly getting warmer. "Hm. Okay." She said with a shrug. Rumors flew rather quickly. Things such as "Cheater.", "Is that the person she cheated with?", And "Is that the model or designer?"

"Love, wheres Ash, I'm not done with her." "I'm right here woman." Rae looked over her shoulder, eye narrowed. She reached out and grabbed Ash by her ear and whispered something with into it before pulling away with a satisfied smile.

After that being resolved we enjoyed the party. Rae did threaten the person who invited her that they'd be fired next time they did this. When we got home Rae fell asleep on me as we watched Criminal Minds. Horror wasn't her favorite thing but as it was Halloween, it was fitting.
