The weather was quite chilly, that was the first thing Seokjin took notice of the moment he peeled open his eyes to appreciate the daylight slipping into the bedroom through the glass windows. He could somehow tell the leaves on each tree were still dripping from the previous night due to the heavy rainfall. While although the thoughts of nature were pretty interesting in the mornings, but something else peaked his interest as he stretched his arms out in a lazy stretch.

He was still very much naked from last night, pinkish red bruises scattered all across his chest up to his neck and shoulder. While he couldn't properly see most of them, he could atleast trace a finger over each mark as he turned even redder, embarrassment creeping in and making him pull the blanket over his head to trash about in absolute disbelief. Smiling nonstop at the thought of allowing himself feel loved for once.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" he squealed repeatedly, unable to believe just how far he'd come with Jungkook even though he remembers absolutely detesting the said man in the beginning.

Just then the door to the bedroom swings open and he instantly stops moving, brain working tirelessly to come up with a believable plan as to why he's buried underneath the blanket with a sheepish smile on his face.

The sound of a wooden tray being set down on the drawer beside the bed makes his heart dip, and so he swallows, now trying to pretend to be half asleep to the best of his ability.

A few minutes in gut wrenching silence goes by, until he heard the very familiar voice very close to his ears.

"So how long are you going to pretend to be asleep for?"

Seokjin's eyes screws shut in shame, had he known he'd be so easily caught, he wouldn't have pretended to be asleep in the first place. Hence why he shyly rolled a tiny fabric of the duvet off of his face just so only his eyes was peeking out from underneath it. "And who said I was sleeping?" He asked, trying to counter snarkily, even though his voice betrayed him and came out sounding rather softer than he'd initially hoped for.

This gesture causes Jungkook's face to break out into a smile, a smile so big that it reached his eyes and made him almost contract the cuteness aggression disease. He sighs afterwards, admiring Seokjin's pretty eyes that seemed to be staring at any and everything except at his face.

Eventually sliding into bed, he gently leaned towards Seokjin, pulled the blanket off his face and pecked him on the lips. "Good morning to you, my prince" he greeted softly, nuzzling his nose against the blushing boy's.

Pulling back with a surprised look on his face, Seokjin corked an inquisitive brow at the man, trying not to smile as he asked "your prince? Ugh! stop being so cheesy will you"

"Oh goodness me, my prince isn't good enough I see. Please do tell me, do you prefer something along the lines of my king? His highness? His Royal beauty? Gorgeous maybe?" Jungkook asked in a a very teasing manner, absolutely adoring every shade of blush that tinted up the boys cheeks one after the other.

Jungkook could barely remember the last time he took it as a priority upon himself to make someone really happy, except his daughter of course. But something in the way Seokjin looked in the moment made him only want to see the boy smile forever, see him happy and see him living life to the fullest amidst everything he's been through.

"Stop it, you're being so cheesy" Seokjin repeated yet again, thereby reeling Jungkook back to reality.

"You're yet to tell me the one you prefer" Jungkook argued right back, this time getting into bed and settling in next to the boy. "So which would it be?" He asked with a grin, fingers rubbing over Seokjin's face.
