They both were walking hand-in-hand near sea shore . As the sun dipped toward the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the ocean, Akshita and Vedant strolled along the sandy shore. The gentle sound of waves lapping against the beach provided a soothing soundtrack to their quiet moment together.

Akshita, with her long, flowing hair catching the breeze, glanced sideways at Vedant, who was focused on the horizon, his thoughts a mix of admiration and shyness. Her heart raced as she noticed the way the sunlight danced in his eyes, revealing a hint of the affection they both tried to hide.

Vedant stole a glance at her, captivated by her laughter and the way she playfully kicked at the water, splashing droplets that sparkled like tiny diamonds. He couldn't help but smile, feeling a flutter of hope , to let her know how he felt.

They walked side by side, the warmth of their unspoken connection filling the air between them. With each step, they shared fleeting glances and shy smiles, both wishing for the courage to break the silence and confess the feelings that hung delicately in the air. The ocean breeze carried the scent of salt and adventure, enveloping them in a moment that felt both timeless and electric—a secret shared between two hearts drawn together by something deeper.

"By the way what do you do Ved?" Akshita asked . Vedant replied "hmmm.. well I work as manager in my company, what do you do dove?" . "Let that be a secret.." Akshita said .  "OuCh" Akshita hissed in pain . "Dove?! Are you okay?!" Vedant says as he tries to pick her up . "N-N-No its okay , I-I'll walk on my own-" she said as she tried walking but ultimately fails and falls down.

Time seemed to slow as she lost her balance, tumbling toward the ground.

In an instant, Vedant sprang into action. He reached out, his hand wrapping around her wrist just before she hit the sand. With a gentle pull, he steadied her, their faces just inches apart. The warmth of his grip and the spark of connection felt electric in the cool evening air.

Akshita's heart raced, a mixture of surprise and exhilaration flooding through her. She looked up into Vedant's eyes, which were filled with concern and a hint of something more. Their laughter mingled, breaking the tension as she caught her breath, her cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and excitement.

"You don't need to stare at me dove , I know I am very handsome" Vedant said with a teasing smile, his heart pounding as he released her wrist, lingering for just a moment longer. Akshita chuckled, brushing sand off her clothes, the playful tension between them thickening in the golden light of the setting sun. In that fleeting moment, both felt the shift—a shared understanding that this was more than just friendship.

"Here , sit down for some time " Vedant said . "Sure" Akshita replied .

Vedant signaled Akshita to place her feet on his lap . "W-What are you doing " Akshita asked as Vedant gently took her feet and starts massaging her feet where she got a sprain

"Does that hurt?" he asked, glancing up at her with a concerned expression.

Akshita smiled slightly, appreciating his care, but a hint of shyness crept in. "Don't you feel weird, you know, touching my feet? Isn't it... a bit strange for a guy?"

Vedant paused for a moment, his hands stilling as he considered her question. "Not at all," he replied, his voice steady. "My mom always taught me that respecting girls means taking care of them, no matter what. It's not about being a guy; it's about being a good person."

Akshita felt a warmth spread through her, both from his words and the gentle way he massaged her foot. "Really? You think that way?"

"Of course," Vedant said, smiling as he resumed his work, kneading the tension from her ankle with careful fingers. "It's just feet. It's about being there for someone when they need it."

Her heart swelled at his sincerity, and for a moment, the pain of her sprain faded away, replaced by a deeper connection. As he continued, she found comfort not just in his touch, but in the respect and kindness he radiated, making the moment feel special despite its simplicity.

"Perhaps, do you have a dream ?" Vedant asked . "I do ... I have a lot of them , but the most impossible one would be that I want to sit near the sea shore with my boyfriend and he plays the guitar and we both sing...But thats never gonna happen.." Akshita replied . "Wait a second, i'll come in a minute.." He said as he vanishes away.

"Where did he go?" Akshita said

As the night deepened, a sudden rustling sound broke the calm, echoing from the dimly lit hallway. Akshita's heart raced, and instinct kicked in. The worry that someone might intrude sent a jolt of adrenaline through her, and without thinking, she sprang into action.

"Stay away from me!" she shouted, her voice firm but trembling. In a swift motion, she lunged toward the noise, tackling the figure to the ground with surprising strength.

As she pinned him down, her breath came in quick gasps, fueled by fear and determination. "Who are you? What do you want?" she demanded, her eyes wide and fierce.

"Akshita, wait! It's me!" came a familiar voice, laced with confusion and a hint of laughter. As her heart sank in recognition, she looked down to see Vedant, his expression a mix of surprise and amusement.

"Oh my God, Vedant!" she exclaimed, her grip loosening as realization washed over her. Embarrassment flooded her cheeks as she scrambled off him, her heart still pounding from the rush of adrenaline.

Vedant chuckled, brushing sand off his clothes as he sat up. "I thought you were going to wrestle me to the ground for real!"

Akshita couldn't help but laugh, though she felt a mix of relief and mortification. "I thought you were—" she started, but then trailed off, shaking her head at the absurdity of the moment.

"It's okay," he said, his tone reassuring. "I appreciate the thought, but I promise I'm not a rapist."

They exchanged sheepish smiles...

"Wait.. is that a guitar? Oh my god dont tell me.." Akshita exclaimed . "Yes my dove , it is" Vedant replied

Vedant strolled along the shore with his guitar slung casually over his shoulder. He could feel the gentle breeze tousling his hair and the soft sound of waves lapping against the shore. Today was special; it was Akshita's dream to sing by the ocean with him, and he was determined to make it unforgettable.

When he spotted Akshita sitting on a blanket, her eyes sparkling with excitement, a smile spread across his face. She looked up, her expression lighting up as she saw him approaching. The world around them faded away, leaving just the two of them and the rhythmic sound of the sea.

As Vedant sat down beside her, he strummed a few chords, the music mingling with the sounds of nature. Akshita's laughter filled the air, and she joined in, her voice blending perfectly with his. Together, they sang under the vibrant hues of the sunset, creating a moment that felt timeless. It was as if the universe had conspired to bring them this perfect evening, and they were lost in their own little world, the waves their only audience.
