As the golden hues of the sunset began to fade, Vedant turned to Akshita, a playful smile lighting up his face. "You know," he said, leaning in slightly, "as much as I enjoy our beach walks, I think we need a better way to stay in touch. How about we exchange numbers?"

Akshita raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile spreading across her lips. "Oh, is that your clever way of making sure I don't disappear again?" she replied, her tone playful.

Vedant chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Exactly! I need to keep tabs on you. Who knows what trouble you might get into without me?"

"Trouble? Me?" she laughed, shaking her head. "I'm more likely to be the one saving you from getting lost in your own thoughts!"

He stepped a little closer, their playful banter creating an electric atmosphere. "Touché! But seriously, I'd like to know what you're up to, even if it's just your epic attempts at beach yoga or whatever it is you do."

Akshita smirked, her heart racing at the flirtation in his voice. "Well, if you want updates on my yoga skills, you'll have to promise to show up and take a class with me."

"Deal," Vedant replied, pulling out his phone. "But only if you promise to not laugh at my lack of balance. I might need a lifeguard on duty."

"Consider me your personal trainer," she shot back, her eyes twinkling. "Now, give me your phone!"

As they exchanged numbers, their fingers brushed against each other, sending a delightful spark through them. Akshita couldn't help but smile, feeling the warmth of his presence envelop her.

"Now we're officially connected," Vedant said, his voice low and playful. "Just remember, if you ignore my texts, I might have to come find you at the beach."

"I wouldn't dream of it," she replied, her voice teasing. "But if you do come looking for me, just know I might be busy—practicing my yoga, of course!"

With laughter lingering in the air, they finished exchanging numbers, both aware that this was just the beginning of many more flirtatious conversations to come.

Akshita laughed, a light twinkle in her eye. "Flirty business meeting? Is that what you call it? I thought we were just two people making sure we don't lose each other again."

"Maybe a little of both," Vedant replied, his gaze locking onto hers. "But if we're going to keep this up, I need to know how you plan on keeping me entertained through text."

"Oh, I have plenty of ideas," she shot back, her voice playful. "I could send you pictures of my yoga poses—just to show you how much better I am at balance than you."

"Yoga poses? That sounds like a challenge," he said, raising an eyebrow. "I might have to send you some pictures of my attempts at yoga too, but fair warning: it might just be me falling over."

Akshita smirked. "I'd love to see that. Maybe I should come to your rescue—after all, someone has to save you from your own clumsiness!"

"Rescue me, huh? I like the sound of that," Vedant replied, a playful glint in his eyes. "Maybe I should start calling you my personal hero."

"Only if you promise to return the favor," she teased, leaning in slightly. "After all, I might need saving from boredom, and you seem like the perfect guy to keep things interesting."

Vedant chuckled, his heart racing. "Oh, I can guarantee you won't be bored with me. But just to be safe, I might need to keep an eye on you. You could be a handful."

"Only a handful? I'm disappointed!" Akshita laughed, giving him a mock serious look. "I was hoping for more of a challenge."

"Challenge accepted," he replied, leaning in just a bit closer. "But be warned, I'm not one to back down easily."
