Jeonghan's back hit the wall as Seongcheol closed in, his tall, menacing figure looming over him. In the dim light of the hallway, Seongcheol's presence felt suffocating, his shadow stretched across the narrow space, swallowing Jeonghan in darkness. His eyes, sharp and predatory, locked onto Jeonghan with a gaze that promised nothing but control.

"You don't need to be afraid," Seongcheol said softly, his voice a chilling contrast to the tension crackling in the air. His hand reached out, brushing Jeonghan's cheek. The touch was surprisingly gentle, but the threat beneath it was clear. "I'll take care of you, Jeonghan. Better than anyone ever could."

Jeonghan flinched, his heart racing as he pushed Seongcheol's hand away. "Stay away from me," he muttered, trying to keep his voice steady, though panic gripped his throat.

But Seongcheol only smiled, unfazed by the rejection. "You don't understand yet, but you will. You belong to me now, Jeonghan. I've been watching you for so long... and I'm not letting anyone come between us."

Jeonghan's mind raced as he desperately tried to think of a way out. He knew he had to act fast. There was no reasoning with someone like Seongcheol, a man who thrived on control, who had the power to crush anyone who defied him. Jeonghan had heard the stories about Scoups, the notorious mafia leader, and his ruthless tactics. But until now, they had felt like distant nightmares, far removed from his quiet university life.

Now, the nightmare stood right in front of him.

Suddenly, Jeonghan made a break for it, darting toward the door. But before he could reach the handle, Seongcheol moved faster, slamming his hand against the doorframe, blocking his exit. Jeonghan froze, breathing heavily, his pulse hammering in his ears.

"You're not going anywhere," Seongcheol growled, the softness in his voice gone, replaced by a dark edge. "I told you—I'll protect you. But if you run from me, you'll only make things harder for yourself."

Jeonghan swallowed hard, his body trembling. "This isn't protection," he spat, his voice hoarse. "This is obsession. You're sick."

Seongcheol's eyes darkened, but instead of anger, he smirked. "You'll learn to love me, Jeonghan. You'll see that no one else can take care of you like I can. I've already cleared the way for us." His smirk widened, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "And if anyone gets in the way... they'll regret it."

Jeonghan's blood ran cold at his words. Cleared the way? What did that mean? His thoughts immediately went to Joshua and Seokmin. Fear stabbed through him like ice. Had Seongcheol done something to them?

"You... what have you done?" Jeonghan demanded, his voice shaking.

Seongcheol tilted his head, amused by the panic in Jeonghan's eyes. "Don't worry about them. Your friends are safe. For now. But if you push me too far, I can't promise their safety."

Jeonghan's stomach churned as the weight of Seongcheol's threat sank in. He couldn't let Joshua and Seokmin get hurt because of him. He couldn't risk it. Forcing down the fear rising in his chest, he realized that the only way to protect them was to play along for now.

"What do you want from me?" Jeonghan whispered, his voice barely above a breath, defeated.

Seongcheol's smile softened, but the hunger in his eyes never wavered. He reached out again, this time gently tilting Jeonghan's chin up so their eyes met. "I just want you to be mine," he said, his voice low and possessive. "That's all. I'll give you everything you could ever want, Jeonghan. Power, protection, anything you desire. You just have to trust me."

Jeonghan's heart raced as Seongcheol's words sank in, a sickening mix of dread and resignation settling in his gut. He couldn't see a way out. Not now. Not with Seongcheol watching his every move and threatening the lives of his friends. For the moment, he had no choice but to play along and bide his time.

"Fine," Jeonghan muttered, his voice barely a whisper. "But if you hurt them, I'll never forgive you."

Seongcheol's eyes softened, as though Jeonghan's words pleased him. "Good," he said, his voice smooth and reassuring. "I knew you'd come around. And don't worry—I keep my promises."

With that, Seongcheol stepped back, giving Jeonghan just enough space to breathe. But even with the physical distance, Jeonghan could still feel the weight of his presence, the suffocating control he exerted over every part of his life.

"Now," Seongcheol said, his voice almost casual, as if they hadn't just crossed a line that could never be undone. "We'll talk more tomorrow. I'll make sure your friends stay unharmed, as long as you do as I say."

And with that, Seongcheol turned and disappeared into the shadows, leaving Jeonghan standing in the dim hallway, shaking with a mix of fear, anger, and despair.

As the door clicked shut behind him, Jeonghan collapsed to the floor, his head spinning. His life had taken a horrifying turn, and he knew there was no easy escape from Seongcheol's grasp.

But deep down, Jeonghan vowed to find a way. He couldn't live like this, trapped under the control of a man who saw him as nothing more than a possession. No matter how dangerous it was, no matter what it took, Jeonghan would find a way to break free.

For now, though, he was caught in the web of Seongcheol's obsession, and the darkness was closing in tighter than ever.
