i've got you under my skin𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌 stepped through the front door of the Halliwell Manor, her smile stretching from ear to ear. Her lunch with Andrew had left her in high spirits, a lightness in her step as she entered the familiar house. The air inside was warm and filled with the faint scent of sage, but something felt off—a strange sense of quiet that didn't fit with her mood. As she wandered deeper into the home, the sound of low voices drew her toward the living room.
Rounding the corner, Prim's cheerful expression faded into one of confusion. Piper was standing near the kitchen, gently handing a steaming bowl of soup to an elderly woman seated at the dining table. The woman's hands trembled as she took the bowl, her silver hair thin and wispy, and her back slightly hunched. Her face was etched with deep lines, her eyes cloudy with age.
"Here you go, Brittany," Piper said softly, guiding her toward the table. "Why don't you go sit down and enjoy this, okay? There you go."
The old woman shuffled toward the table, her movements slow and uncertain. Prim's brow furrowed deeply as she took in the scene, her eyes darting between the elderly woman and her sisters.
"Uh, whose grandma is this?" Prim asked, her voice laced with bewilderment.
Prue, who had been standing nearby, turned to face her younger sister, her expression serious. "This woman," she said, pausing for emphasis, "is Brittany Reynolds."
Prim's eyes widened, the name not matching the image in front of her. "Wait, what?" she said, her voice rising with incredulity. "I'm gonna need a lot more context, people."
Piper stepped forward, folding her arms across her chest as she exchanged a concerned look with Prue. "Last night, we saw Brittany," she explained, her tone a mix of disbelief and worry. "She was young—mid-twenties, perfectly healthy, and definitely not senile. But now, all of a sudden, she's old." Piper gestured toward the elderly woman at the table, who was slowly sipping the soup. "She knows things only Brittany would know. It's like... she's aged overnight. It was enough to convince me that somehow this really is her."
