Chapter 4: Scarefest

"Fuck i'm late" You muttered to yourself. Running through your campus. Your class started ten minutes ago. You over slept today. You and sasha had been hanging out all weekend and yesterday was the first night she left after having another sleeping over.

It's been a couple of weeks after the party. It's been starting to get colder. You've been hanging out with Pieck and Sasha for majority of these last couple of weeks, You've also been texting back and forth with Porco. Throughout the weekend you and sasha were just attached to each other. Sasha was a person you felt like you had to meet no matter what. She was such a truly genuine person and throughout the two of you hanging out over the weekend it showed you that more than  ever.

As you were about to walk in to your lecture you seen eren walking in as well. The two of you didn't know each other well outside of the group but you would wave or say hi to each other from time to time. Professor Zachary looked over as the two of you walk in. The class stares at the two of you. As you were about to start walking to the steps Professor Zachary stopped the two of you and motioned for the two of you to walk towards him.

Once the two of you walked up your professor started explaining your term project. "The first term project was announced today. The two of you will be paired together. The details are posted. Any questions come up during class or e-mail me. Please be time sensitive"

You and eren nodded before going your separate ways. Once you were sat with the usual duo that sits beside you. You pulled out your laptop and started looking at the details on the assignment post.

You and eren would be developing and testing your own data structures. You thought about it and wanted to either do trees or graphs for your development. You would have to start the outline now because the project was difficult and would take until midterm to complete.

As you started looking into the projects and how he wanted you guys to do your citations, eren came to come sit with you.

"Yo, Can I switch spots with you? I'm working with her" He pointed to you. Without hesitation the girl sitting beside you nods her head. she tries to start a conversion with eren but it doesn't go anywhere as he was being honestly dry. 

She gets up and leaves and her friend doesn't get up to go with her. You didn't think much about any of this and decided to just continue what you were doing.

"What are we doing?" eren said after bringing his phone out his hoodie pocket. "Look at the assignment. I'm starting the outline"

"Okay but when is it due" he said scratching his head. "November 12th" you said slightly dismissively. "Why are we starting it day of if it's due in over a month?" He looked at you dumbly. You turned your head at him and looked at him with the same look.

"Look at the assignment and half of what you're asking me is answered" You said exasperatedly. You were already having a bad day. You woke up late, got your period and you and your mom still haven't spoken properly. You were too stressed to answer every last question this man had.

He looked at you before sighing loudly and bring out his laptop and opening it. The two of you worked in silence for five minutes before you started to feel bad.

You looked towards him and cleared your throat before starting "My bad i've just been stressed and you were asking a lot of questions" you said as you rubbed your eyes.

Eren looked at you before nodding "It's all good I didn't take it personal" You and him smiled at each other before continuing your work.

After 30mins the class was majority over and the girl that originally sat beside you got up to get her things. When she came over and got her things she had a whisper conversation with her friend. You couldn't properly understand what they were saying because of your air pods but you could tell it was heated.
