Y/N stood back up from the wall he was plummeted to, pointing his Zanpakuto at Xalivera

Y/N: "Jinsei no Nami... Vortex!"

A spiral of water turned into a vortex flew at the Arrancar, who decided it was time to take things seriously

Xalivera: "To think such a strong weapon only controls a single element... how pitiful..."

She took out her own Zanpakuto and cut through the vortex

"Declararse, Guerrera"

Y/N could feel the spiritual pressure rising, her mask had shown her eyes but enclosed her mouth and chin. Her Zanpakuto had turned into a small shield and a battle axe...

Y/N: "A released state..."

Xalivera: "What's wrong, can't handle to see my true form? Or should I say... Resurrección!"

She charged at Y/N, clashing her shield against him, though he blocked it with his Zanpkauto, they kept going until they crashed against the same wall as before

Xalivera wasn't done though, swinging her battle axe right down at Y/N's face, but was parried by a kido spell...

Y/N: "Bakudo #8. Seki..."

Y/N took the confusion on her face to knee her in the chin before calling out another kido spell

Y/N: "Hado #31. Shakkahō!"

The spell blew up in her face again, but it gave time for Y/N to use his Zanpakuto to stab into her shoulder and kick her away

Xalivera: "Heh, you're sure strong with your hands, Shinigami! Why even use a Zanpakuto at this point!"

Y/N: "I can ask you the same thing, you haven't used your shield's ability yet, have you"

Xalivera seemed to flinch at this

Xalivera: "You know about my shield?"

Y/N: "The last kido spell, half of it was absorbed into it, even the color of the middle changed, it's quite obvious"

Xalivera: "O-oh... of course... Uhh"

Y/N: "Why are you acting so awkward, did you have a cool explanation for your powers or something?"

Y/N just flashstepped at her and tried to stab into her neck with his Zanpakuto but it was parried by her shield and he was bashed with the shield, knocking him back a few feet, but after noticing Xalivera was taking a stance with her shield, Y/N created a water barrier, blocking the blast, it felt like a Shakkahō...

Y/N: "There it is..."

Y/N rushed in again, sending a flurry of stabs at her, most of which were parried or deflected by the shield, but a handful were able to pierce her left leg, right arm and shoulders

She took a stance after parrying another hit, swinging her axe from the ground and at Y/N's ribs, but her axe got stopped by Y/N stabbing his Zanpakuto into the ground to block the hit and counterattack with a right hook, sending her back against the crowd
