Salem had just gotten back from the hospital, and she wasn't working. Salem had twisted her ankle while working, she had gone through the whole entire day without saying anything. Salems best friend Brielle had checked her foot after she caught Salem limping around. Right now Salem was sitting on the couch and Reidy was putting ice on her foot. "Y'know you should've told someone as soon as it happened" Reidy scolded. He was always super protective of her, Salem didn't mind.
"I know I know, it didn't hurt that bad though" Salem wasn't lying, it didn't hurt that bad at first but after long hours walking on it the pain started to get to her.
"No surfing for 2 weeks, I mean it Salem." Reidy said in a stern voice, he could be stern but he rarely was.
"1 week?"
"2 weeks."
Salem wasn't gonna push it farther, at least for today she wasn't.
"Hey I need to go back to work.. please baby for the love of god stay here and rest, I'll be back around 6:30 okay?" Reidy said as he kissed her cheek and went to the door. "Bye babe! Love you!"

Salem was bored out of her mind, she FaceTimed her brothers, she watched a movie, she scrolled through instagram, tiktok, facebook, twitter even. Salem got up and kept the wrapping on her ankle, she got changed into a two piece bathing suit and put a big t shirt over it. Salem went out to the balcony and grabbed her surf board, it wouldn't hurt to go for a small surf. She knew Reidy was over at bondi so she could probably get away worth going to Tamarama or Bronte, sure she'd be seen by some of the boys in blue but none of them know about the twisted ankle.

Did Salem actually post to her real instagram? The instagram that her boyfriend has? Absolutely not. This is her secret insta account. No she wasn't hiding anything it was just whenever she wanted to surf or do something that Reidy told her not to, this is where she'd post about it. Salem drove down to Bronte beach and found a spot for her stuff, she placed her backpack down and layed her towel out while also throwing her cover up onto the towel. She walked down to water and paddled out on her board. ONE HOUR LATER
Salem was sat on the couch as she heard the front door open. Reidy. "Salemmm? You still home?" He called out.
"I'm home!"
"Thank goodness, thank you for actually listening to me today" Reidy kissed her forehead and sat down next to her. "Did you eat yet?"
"Yep I made a sandwich earlier, did you eat?"
"Ya me and the boys all picked something up about an hour ago, did anyone come over and see you? There was sand by the front door."
Salems eyes widened slightly "Oh! Ya! Mason came over a while ago, he must've walked up the beach" Salem usually didn't lie, but she could not get caught after that surf.
"Oh that was nice of him, alright love I'm gonna go jump in the shower." Reidy kissed her cheek and headed towards their shared room.
Salem let out a sigh of relief and layed back on the couch closing her eyes and snuggling into the blankets, eventually Salem fell asleep.
