"In a sense, I owe my life, and everything that has happened lately to you."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
One "uneventful" day, a high schools' science classroom buzzed
with quiet conversation and the scratching of pencils. In said classroom, were 2 teenagers. 1 amongst the 2 of them, named Eri, loved daydreaming, especially during class. However, it was never anything major. But this time, not only was it far too specific for a simple daydream during class. It felt real, Eri could feel her stomach twisting. The dream was about a meteor crashing into earth, destroying everything and anything in its way. It then flashed to Janitor closet "11". She tried to shake it off, convincing herself it was just another wild flight of imagination. After all, teenagers often daydream. Nothing unusual about that. But this felt different. This felt real. Too real.
"Eri? Are you okay?" One of the two (Stellar) asked, being Eri's seatmate and best friend, she was concerned.
Eri didn't respond, instead her friends' voice was like a trigger to her. Eri grabbed her friends' hand, standing up and rushing out of the classroom. She practically broke the door down, her teacher yelling at Eri to sit back down. Eri kept Stellar close to her, Stellar was having a hard time keeping up with Eri's pace, she needed to slow Eri down.
"Oh! Hey Stell- "One of Stellar and Eri's friends (Elliot) greeted but got caught by Stellar grabbing onto his hand in a desperate attempt to stop Eri, or at least slow her down. But not even another persons' weight was enough to stop Eri. It surely slowed her down, making it easier for Stellar to keep up with Eri's running speed, but Elliot couldn't. Elliot fell immediately, being dragged by the arm through the hallway. His astray leg hit something, or rather someone. Causing them to fall over and hold on to Elliot's leg. This unfortunate boy's' name was Kai Arcane, A kid from the same class as Eri and Stellar, the toilet pass in hand while being dragged around. Eri ran down a flight of stairs, bringing pain to the others down the human chain. Elliot and Kai bumped and thudded down behind her, their heads hitting each step with a dull thud. Elliot groaned in pain, while Kai, dazed and bewildered, clutched the toilet pass as if it were a lifeline to reality. Soon after, and without warning, Eri made a sharp turn, throwing Stellar, Kai and Elliot into the same exact janitors closet as in the daydream, jumping in herself and throwing the door closed, locking it behind her.
"What- Eri what are you doing??" Elliot yelled. Eri didn't respond, she instead just stared at the door, the other three looking at her with pure confusion. Eri was always the talkative type, she was only quiet when she was sulking. But, Kai, Nor Elliot, Nor Stellar could recall doing anything to upset Eri in the past week, and the silence that was in the closet was not a comforting silence, but instead an eerie and creepy silence.
Stellar, who was about to go and ask her long friend about this, but before she could, the entire building shook, causing Eri to fall over. It was like an extremely strong earthquake, the kind you see on news that were known as tragedies. But the earthquake was not the only concerning thing. Because, along with that, their eyesight was deducted to nothing but white, as if they were disclosed in a room, away from everyone and everything. After a couple minutes (but what felt like hours to the four), they woke up.
Eri sat up, rubbing her head. But after this, the curiosity got the better of Kai, who shot up and flung the door open. But little did he know, this was the worst thing he could've done all week. He opened the door, only to be met with a groundbreaking amount of wind coming at him, causing him to fall over. But what was next was even worse, the fact that outside wasn't the school basement anymore, but instead it was outer space; multiple particles of what they believed was earth, scattered everywhere. Distant crashes and collides were heard in the distance, but other than that it was quite quiet. To an eerie extent. Said silence was soon interrupted by an unfamiliar voice, ringing through their ears. This voice sounded echoey, and so far, yet so close. It caused headaches throughout all the four, their heads spinning, causing vertigo. It was hard to make out what the entity said, but then again, they didn't want to hear it in the first place.
