Practice two goes by quickly, with Lando finishing first and Charles coming in second. I head over to Charles in the garage and wrap my arms around him. "Well done!" I say, mimicking applause.

"Oh, stop it," he chuckles, nudging me playfully. "Alright, we've got a night ahead of us, so go back to the hotel and start getting ready... because you take forever!"

"Shut it! How should I dress?" I ask, rolling my eyes.

"Well, we're going for dinner and then clubbing, so... you know."

After that, I make my way back to the hotel, jump in the shower, and start preparing for the night. I style my hair into a slick-back ponytail and keep my makeup neutral. Finally, I slip into a wine-red minidress that hugs my curves perfectly. Just as I'm finishing up, there's a knock on my door. It's Charles.

"Ready?" he asks, taking in my appearance.

"Wow, mi amor. You look beautiful," he says, his eyes wide in disbelief.

"Thanks, Charles. I just need to grab my things," I reply, rushing over to my bed to throw my essentials into my purse.

We drive down to dinner with Arthur, and when we arrive, I'm greeted by the sight of every driver at the table.

"Viv's here!" George announces to the group.

"Hey, guys!" I wave, and Carmen, George's girlfriend, rushes over to give me a tight hug. "OMG, Vivi! I haven't seen you in ages!"

After a quick chat with Carmen, I spot Lando and a few empty chairs beside him. Just as I make my way to sit next to him, Charles darts in front of me and claims the seat.

I watch as Viv strides toward the empty chair beside me, but then Charles unexpectedly speeds up to take it. He sits down, giving me a challenging look that some of the other drivers notice. Viv takes the seat next to Charles, looking confused by the sudden switch. After we were all seated, i couldn't stop keep on looking Viv, she looked stunning.

"Do you want me to grab you a drink from the bar?" I hear Charles ask her.

"Uh, yes please, Charles. A rosé," she replies smiling.

"Right away," he responds, sitting up straight as he runs his hand along her back while walking away. The moment he leaves, Viv slips into the seat beside me, looking effortlessly gorgeous.

"Hey," she says, getting comfortable.

"Hey. You look really nice tonight," I tell her, my hand moving to her thigh beneath the table. She looks up at me, a smirk playing on her lips.

"Thank you, Lando. You're not too bad yourself," she giggles, and the sound sends a thrill through me.

"I'd say you look stunning, but I think that word doesn't even begin to cover it," I say, my voice low and sincere. Her cheeks flush, and I can't help but smile at the effect I have on her.

"Flattery will get you everywhere," she replies, teasingly.

Just then, Charles returns with her drink, placing it in front of her with a flourish. "Here you go, Viv." he says, leaning down slightly as he hands it to her, giving me a dirty look as he noticed she had moved seats.

"Thanks, Charles!" she smiles at him.

As I settle into the seat next to Viv, I can't help but feel a twinge of irritation. Lando has a way of making everything seem effortless, and watching him interact with her stirs up something inside me. When I asked Viv if she wanted a drink, I thought I'd steal a moment to connect, but Lando clearly has other plans.
