Chapter 24---A Visitor From The Past🔺

Third pov

When Daniel finished his performance, he got down the stage and greeted Mi-Rae with a big hug who left the girl surprised.

"We did it!! We finally did it!!" He exclaimed while hugging Mi-Rae tightly.

Mi-Rae couldn't do something else than chuckle with her best friend's reaction. "I know Danny! I'm also so happy!"

When he leaned away from the hug, he greeted Mi-Rae's sweet smile. "You were amazing up there Danny! I'm so proud of you!"

He smiled with his best friend's comment. "Thank you! I couldn't do it without you Mi-Rae...You were also amazing up there!!"

Mi-Rae blushed with Daniel's comment but she tried to hide it, "Aish! Stop saying that..." she hit him playfully, "...you'll be amazing even without my help!"

Daniel chuckled, "That's not true..." She blushed with the way that Daniel was looking at her, she glanced somewhere else and said, "Let's go...I'm sure our families expecting us..."

They were searching among the crowd, until they noticed their parents alongside with their aunts and uncles. They went towards their direction and they were greeted with applause and loud comments.

Rosè immediately engulfed her daughter on a big hug, not letting her breathe. "Mi-Rae you were so beautiful up there! Your voice, your expressions, everything!!" Rosè said.

"Mom, are you crying?" Mi-Rae asked while chuckling and faced her mother. "Don't mind me, I was just touched with the song you performed."

"You liked it?" Mi-Rae asked with a smile, "We didn't like it, we loved it! You were amazing up there!!" Jimin said and hugged his daughter too.

Lisa also hugged her son, " You were great up there Danny! I'm so proud of the boy you have grown up to be! I still remember singing that song with your dad when you were little..."

"Please mom, don't cry too!!" Daniel said softly, "I can't help it..." she chuckled and brushed her tears away.

Daniel glanced at Jungkook, seeing him with a soft smile on his face. "Did you like it dad?" he asked with a smile.

Jungkook got closer and hugged his son, "Of course Danny...it means so much to me that you sang that song today, I'm so proud of you my son..."

That was all Daniel wanted to hear from his parents that he made them proud. He didn't care anymore about the contract with a music company, the satisfaction that he got from his family was enough.

"Guys you were amazing! We were so touched from your performances." Jisoo said and the rest of them agreed too.

"Unnie! Your rap parts were amazing! You were my favorite up there!!!" Hana exclaimed happily towards Mi-Rae.

"How about me?! You didn't like my performance?!" Daniel asked his sister.

Hana shrugged her shoulders, "Ehh..., I have seen you performing that song before..." Everyone were left openmouthed with Hana's reply.

"I'm joking!!! Of course I loved your performance oppa!! But still Mi-Rae stole the spotlight with the rap parts..." Daniel glared at Mi-Rae and she replied by sticking her tongue out to tease him.

"All the participants please get up the stage for the final part of the performance." The principal said and one by one got up on stage.

"What are you waiting for guys?! Go!" Jennie said with excitement, pushing the kids towards the stage.
