Scarlett McCall sat on her bedroom floor, a book plopped onto her knees, and a queen record playing softly. Scarlett was practically fast a sleep, her head on the book, and her eyes shut.
"Stiles what the hell are you doing?!" Scott shouted from outside on the porch.
Scarlett jolted awake, her head smacking the edge of her bed frame. Scarlett tried slowing her heart rate, as she eavesdropped on the conversation happening on the porch.
Scarlett was met with dead silence, and she was quick to come to the conclusion that they were talking in hushed whispers to not alert her. Scarlett felt a burst of annoyance go through her body, knowing the boys were planning to leave her behind.
Scarlett quickly looks down at her outfit, the dark plaid pajama pants, and the tight white tank top, was good enough for the weather. Scarlett threw on her dark purple sweater, and a pair of purple fur boots, as she ran around her room like a headless chicken completely forgetting the discarded book on the floor.
Scarlett was ready to set her plan to action, as soon as the beanie was on her head. Scarlett tip toed to her bedroom window, opening as quietly as possible, before climbing out onto the roof.
"We're going." Stiles said, from the porch.
Scarlett rolled her eyes, as her brother said he needed to go change. Scarlett quietly walked along the roof's edge, over to the oak tree that had been where the siblings old swing hung, but was now just away for the siblings to sneak out.
Scarlett walked over to the tree, before slowly climbing down, trying to make as little noise as possible. If the boys caught her, Scarlett would be locked up in the basement for sure, they never liked her joining them on their "adventures".
Scarlett dropped to the groud, standing up slightly, before quietly jogging over to Stiles's jeep. Scarlett loved the 1980 robin's egg blue CJ5 jeep, having begged Stiles to let her drive his "baby". Scarlett smartly walked over to Stiles's car, making sure it was clear as she tip toed tu tge car.
Scarlett opened the passengers door of the jeep, hoping that the creaking noise of the rusted metal didn't alarm Stiles of her plan. When the passengers door was open enough for her figure to wiggle into the passengers seat. When Scarlett fell into the passengers seat, closing the loud creaking car door shut. Before coming climbing into the back of the car, and laying down on the seat.
Not even five minutes later Stiles, and Scott climbed into the car, seemingly arguing over something. Scarlett mentally pumped her fists, as they were so deep in their conversation they didn't even bother to look at the back of the seats in case of a situation like this.
"Why are we going this again?" Scott asked, curiously.
Scarlett rolled her eyes in disbelief at her brother's rudeness. Scott had been invited to go on a secret adventure that she wasn't invited to, but he was complaining? The nerve of some people Scarlett thought.
"So, what are we doing? And where are we going?" Scarlett asked, sitting up in the back seat.
Scott, and Stiles screamed 'so dramatic', before calming their heart rates down. "Scar what the hell are you doing?!" Scott shouted, his breathing heavy.
"Obviously here to join you guys, but you didn't answer my question." Scarlett stated, rolling her eyes, as she put her elbows on the two front seats.
"WE are going out, YOU are staying home." Stiles said, shortly, as he was getting ready to turn the jeep around.
"Naha, I'm joining you guys, or I'll call mom right now." Scarlett argued.
Stiles stopped the jeep abruptly, making Scarlett smack her head into the back of the seat, as she let out a string of curses. Stiles looked at the girl annoyance clear on his face, as he tried to decide if he should just leave her on the side of the road to walk home.
