"Everything is perfectly fine; there's nothing to worry about. However, the baby is a bit underweight, so please focus on your diet."
Dr. Nisha told Siya and Arjun, who were sitting in front of her.
Arjun looked at the doctor with panic and asked, "Could this cause any problems?"
Hearing his question, the doctor smiled.
"No, Mr. Rathore, there's nothing to worry about. Just ensure she eats well, and everything will be fine."
Arjun looked at Siya, who was staring at the ultrasound image of the baby, then turned toward the doctor.
"Doctor, Siya is unable to eat properly. She suffers a lot from morning sickness. If this continues, won't it affect both of them?"
Siya also looked at the doctor after hearing him.
"I understand your concern, but trust me, this is very normal. It was your wife's first trimester, during which morning sickness and similar issues are quite common. So there's nothing to worry about. But now, her pregnancy is almost four months along, and her second trimester is about to begin. This period is crucial, and you both need to be very careful," the doctor explained to both of them.
Dr. Nisha looked at Siya.
"Siya, your morning sickness will start to go away a little, but there will be some changes in your body that might be hard for you since this is your first time becoming a mother. But all of this is normal."
Siya looked at the doctor with confusion and asked, "What kind of changes, doctor?"
"Your body will start to gain weight, your breasts will get bigger, your belly will grow, and there may be some changes to your skin. These are the changes you can expect."
Arjun and Siya both listened carefully to the doctor.
"You don't have to do much; just focus on your diet. Eat whatever you feel like, and you can keep working there's no problem with that. I'll give you some vitamins to take regularly. Everything else is fine. Your next appointment will be in a month," the doctor said.
After everything was finished, they thanked the doctor and left for there.
Arjun opened the door for Siya. When she sat in the car, he went to the other side and got in. He was about to start the car when he noticed that Siya was looking tense.
He gently held her face and turned it toward him.
"What happened, Siya? Why do you look so worried?" he asked softly.
Siya stared at him for a moment and then said, "If I ask you something, will you tell me the truth?"
When he heard her question, Arjun felt a little tense. He looked at her nervously and nodded.
"Not like this. First, promise me you'll tell the truth." She insisted!
He didn't understand why she was asking this. He wondered if she had found out something that might cause a misunderstanding between them. Just thinking about it made his heart sink.
"Promise me, Arjun, that you'll be honest."
She insisted again.
He took a deep breath and said, "I promise. Now, tell me what it is."
