He pulled away from the kiss and looked at her with a smirk, his deep husky voice breaking the tension. "You're so sweet, princess."
Hye-rin glared at him, a fire igniting in her eyes. "I hate you! I hate you with all my heart!"
He kept smirking, leaning closer. "I love you too, princess. But now, let's go. I'll show you my mansion. Just remember, if you try to escape or do anything stupid, the consequences won't be good."
He untied her, and she stood up, her heart racing as he took her hand tightly. He led her outside the basement, and as they emerged, Hye-rin's jaw dropped at the sight of the luxurious mansion. She had only seen places like this in dramas.
Once inside, he took her straight to the living room and made her sit on the sofa. He sat down next to her, his tone serious. "I have some rules I need to share with you, so listen carefully. Rule number one: You will not attempt to escape. If you do, I will find you. My guards are everywhere. Rule number two: If you need to go to school, my guards will accompany you at all times. Rule number three: You are mine, and you belong to me. You do not have permission to talk to any other guy. Rule number four: Whatever I say, you will do. You must be obedient, and if you refuse, there will be consequences. No questions asked. Rule number five: When you go out, no revealing clothes, like shorts or short skirts. Understood?"
She nodded slowly, her heart pounding. "But why me? There are so many girls. Why only me? I don't like you, and I'm still a teenager. Please let me go. My grandmother is waiting for me."
He looked deeply into her eyes. "Don't worry about your grandmother. I'll call them here tomorrow. And as for your age, I don't care. Age doesn't matter. Most people love others for a reason, and when that reason disappears, their love fades. But I don't need a reason to love you."
"I don't need your love! I don't need anyone! I'll escape from here soon. I don't care about your rules!"
His fury sparked, and he removed his coat, rolled up his sleeves, and picked her up in a bridal style, ignoring her protests. He carried her to her room, closing the door with his leg behind him. He laid her down on the bed, his voice low and dangerous. "You're staying in this room. If you try to escape, remember my name, because if you do, you might be screaming it at night. My love, I hope you understand."
He smirked and winked at her before walking out and locking the door behind him. Hye-rin remained frozen, her cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and anger. "Hye-rin, stop it! Stop thinking about him! No, no, no! I will escape! But what if he does what he just said? No! No!"
The next day began.
She woke early, brushed her teeth, washed her face, and went downstairs, noticing the maids cleaning the entire mansion. Approaching one, she asked, "Is it a special day today?"
Before the maid could respond, Taehyung appeared behind her, saying, "Yes, princess. Today is a special day for us."
She turned around, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Well, this is a big surprise for you. If you want to know, go to your room first."
She didn't argue and returned to her room, sitting on the bed. "I have to escape from here, but how? What surprise is he talking about? I don't even have my phone—agh!"
Suddenly, several girls entered her room. She stood up, wary. "C-Can I ask who you are?"
The girls smiled, and one replied, "We're makeup artists. Mr. Kim Taehyung asked us to do your makeup and hairstyle for your wedding today."
Her eyes widened in shock. "W-What do you mean, my wedding?"
"Your wedding to Kim Taehyung."
Hye-rin froze, then bolted downstairs. In the living room, she saw her grandmother seated with Taehyung, who had a gun pointed at her head. Tears streamed down Hye-rin's cheeks as she ran to her grandmother, wrapping her arms around her tightly.
Taehyung smirked, his grip on the gun unwavering. Hye-rin glared at him, voice trembling with rage. "How dare you? Pointing a gun at my grandmother? I'll call the police!"
He laughed, grabbing her wrists tightly. "What do you think? You'll call the police, and they'll arrest me? Hahaha! You're too naive. If you want to save your grandmother, you'll marry me. Quietly. Do what I say, princess."
"NO! NO! NEVER! I won't!" she screamed.
Taehyung clenched his jaw in anger, tightening his grip. "I'll count to three, and if you don't say yes to marrying me, I'll kill your grandmother in front of you. One..."
Hye-rin dropped to her knees, tears flooding her eyes. "O-Okay! I'll marry you! But please, I beg you, don't kill my grandmother!"
He smirked, releasing her grandmother, who quickly hugged Hye-rin. "Don't marry this man! Let me die for you! Don't destroy your life!" her grandmother pleaded.
"No! You're important to me! I can't let you die!" Hye-rin cried, desperation etched on her face.
Taehyung seized Hye-rin's wrist and dragged her back to her room, a wicked smile on his lips.
