Taehyung arrived at his grandmother's house, quickly getting out of the car. His bodyguards followed closely behind, weapons at the ready. He rushed to the door and knocked urgently. When his grandmother opened it, he bolted inside and headed straight for Hye-rin's room, pounding on her door.

Inside, Hye-rin was locked away, tears streaming down her face as fear consumed her. When she didn't respond, Taehyung slammed his shoulder against the door, breaking it open. His anger flared as he stepped inside, and without a moment's hesitation, he slapped her hard across the face, causing her to faint and collapse onto the floor.

Without a second thought, he scooped her up in his arms and carried her to his car, placing her in the passenger seat as he began driving. After a tense ride, they arrived back at Taehyung's mansion. He lifted her from the car again, taking her straight to his room, where he laid her down on the bed. Locking the door behind him, he descended to the living room and poured himself a glass of wine, the weight of the evening settling on his shoulders.

After some time, Hye-rin groggily awakened, her instincts kicking in as she rushed to the door, pounding against it and pleading, "Please, open the door! Taehyung, I beg you!"

Taehyung heard her cries from upstairs, smirking to himself as he continued sipping his wine. Eventually, he made his way back upstairs and unlocked the door, finding Hye-rin sitting on the floor beside the bed, tears streaming down her cheeks.

As he entered, she scrambled to her feet, trembling in fear. Taehyung approached her, pushing her back onto the bed and sitting on top of her, a devilish grin spreading across his face. "What do you think, huh? You can't run away from me, my girl."

Hye-rin stuttered, her voice shaky, "P-please, let me go. I'm scared! I can't live in your mafia world; it terrifies me!"

His eyes softened for a brief moment, but he quickly composed himself. He began to stroke her hair, his tone turning almost tender. "Don't worry, my girl. I know you're scared, but believe me, I'm here to protect you. You're mine. But don't think I won't punish you for trying to escape."

Before she could respond, he crushed his lips against hers. She struggled against him, but he firmly held her wrists down on the bed. He spent half the night administering her punishment, leaving them both breathless and tangled in the sheets.

The next day began.

They were both asleep, Taehyung's arms wrapped tightly around Hye-rin from behind. After a while, she stirred awake, realizing she was nestled in his embrace. As she attempted to get up, he pulled her closer.

"Need any help?" he teased, his voice laced with amusement.

She shot him an angry glare, but he merely walked into the bathroom, leaving her alone.

Later, he settled into the living room on the couch. Hye-rin made her way downstairs, contemplating approaching him, but paused when a maid entered, inadvertently spilling coffee all over Taehyung.

Enraged, he jumped up, shouting, "You're fired! Get out, now!"

An idea sparked in Hye-rin's mind. She strode over, grabbed a glass of water, and splashed it on him, declaring defiantly, "I know you're going to divorce me because I spilled water on you, so go ahead and do it!"

Taehyung smirked at her audacity, but he shook his head. "You know how much I love you, my girl. You're my wife, not my maid. So, I'm not divorcing you. You can't run away from me."
