Episode 9: "Facing Reality" (Mayank's POV)
I stood outside Ishan's dorm, curiosity getting the better of me.
"Hey, guys," I said, entering the room.
Ishan and Shubman sat on the couch, hands intertwined.
"What's going on?" I asked.
Ishan took a deep breath.
"Shubman and I...we're together," Ishan confessed.
My eyes widened.
"Whoa," I said. "I had no idea."
Ishan and Shubman exchanged nervous glances.
"Say something, Mayank," Shubman urged.
I grinned.
"I'm happy for you guys," I said. "But this changes things."
As captain of the cricket team, I knew the implications.
"Coach will have a fit," I warned.
Ishan nodded.
"We know," Ishan said. "We're ready."
But were they?
The team's dynamics would shift.
Fans would scrutinize.
Media attention would intensify.
"I'll support you guys," I vowed. "But we need a plan."
