(Shubman's POV)
"Coach will have a fit," Mayank warned, his voice laced with concern.
"We know," I said, glancing at Ishan. "We're ready."
But were we?
Ishan's hand brushed against mine, sending a surge of confidence.
Mayank nodded.
"Keep it private for now," Mayank suggested.
"Agreed," Ishan said.
I nodded.
"Until the season ends," I added.
We sat in Ishan's dorm, surrounded by familiar comforts.
But the world outside was unpredictable.

(Ishan's POV)
Shubman's hand still touched mine.
"Ready for this?" I whispered.
Shubman nodded.
"Together," Shubman replied.
Our eyes locked.
In that moment, nothing else mattered.
But reality crept in.
"Media will be ruthless," I said.
Shubman's grip tightened.
"We'll face it," Shubman said.

(Mayank's POV)
As team captain, I had to consider the implications.
"Coach will question your focus," I warned.
Shubman's expression turned determined.
"My game won't suffer," Shubman asserted.
Ishan nodded.
"Our relationship won't distract him," Ishan said.
I hoped they were right.

(Shubman's POV)
But secrets rarely stay hidden.
The next day, a local newspaper headline read:
"University Cricket Star Shubman's Hidden Love Life Exposed"
Our lives turned upside down.
Reporters swarmed the campus.
Coach summoned me to his office.
"This will distract the team," Coach fumed.
I stood tall.
"Our personal lives won't affect my game," I asserted.
Coach scowled.
"We'll see about that," Coach warned.
The consequences were unfolding.
