Awaking slightly to the feeling of something being draped over me I curl up to the warmth.

I feel the end of the sofa dip as I start to fall back towards a deep sleep.

After a few hours I am awoken to my phone ringing.

Groggily I sit up and reach towards the coffee table for my phone and answer I lay back down and close my eyes "hey honey you doin alright?" I ask him patiently "yeah I'm okay just wanted to ring and tell you we're at the lodge and that we're safe." "Thank god you're safe, look keep an eye out for anything and you know if you need anything I'm here I love you lots and be safe okay" "I love you too aunty, thank you for always looking out for me and mum it means a lot." "No don't thank me hun it's what family are meant to do, he chose to walk out of your life after robbing you of your childhood, I wasn't about to abandon you and leave you suffering" I say getting a little emotional as the conversation goes on. "I know they hurt you, I don't know the full story because mum wouldn't say as it's not her place but you are honestly the best thing to happen to me you're my rock and I hope one day we can all live a happy life." Ryder adds as I open my eyes to see Ghost sat at the end of the sofa, I wipe the sleep from my eyes. "Look I will never place that burden on your shoulders to know what they did to me would break you, it's my job as your aunty, the only family member on this side alive and not hell bent on hurting you to protect you, I do too one day hope that I'll be able to give you a safe place to live away from all of this and until that day comes I will fight for you and your mum to keep you as safe as I can. You came into this world only know pain and I'll be damned if you don't know what it feels to be taken care of. I won't let you know that pain." I say seriously looking towards the clock seeing it's 6pm and my stomach rumbles "look lovely I've got to go make some dinner for everyone but you call me if you need me and if you can't reach me you call papa price okay?" I say I receive a small okay back "love you lots" i hear and reciprocate.

Hanging up I sigh. I look back up to Ghosts face, "you alright have a good sleep?" He asks "Hm yeah I'm okay just tired, thank you for bringing the blanket out to me" I say getting up and stretching, I fold the blanket onto the arm of the sofa.

"Wait how did you know?" He asks slightly confused "footsteps, it's a trauma response to be able to tell who's walking towards you." I state walking towards the kitchen.

"Gonna make some dinner for you all, you like spaghetti Bolognaise?" I ask him he nods and I turn to the fridge getting out the ingredients.

I start by placing a pan onto the hob then start chopping some onions, garlic and peppers. I place the chopped vegetables into the pan with some oil and butter frying until soft and golden. I place them into a small bowl I've dug out from the cupboard and then add the minced beef to pan frying off until browned and slightly crispy, I make sure to drain any extra fat from the pan before adding back the vegetables along with a tin of chopped tomatoes and a couple cartons of passata, seasoning with salt,pepper and oregano. I add a dash of Worcestershire Sauce and a spoonful of gravy granules making sure to mix it until it's dissolved. I leave it simmer after turning down the heat.

As I'm finding the big pot for some pasta to be cooked in I hear Gaz and soap talking. Riley trots up to me and sits infront of his bowl giving me the look of 'feed me bitch or I'll die' I scratch behind his ear "you have a good day boy?" I ask him whilst filling and topping off his bowl of food.

The boys sit on the sofa "is that your spaghetti sauce I smell?" Soap asks slumping down on the sofa next to gaz "yeah it is, hope he's been a good boy" I say placing the food down and releasing Riley from his sit. Johnny smiles wide, Gaz responds "definitely gave some rookies a scare but he's a good boy." I nod going back to the pan giving it a small stir.

"Good I'm glad, could one of you help me get the pasta from the top shelf?" I ask looking towards the cupboard trying to jump to the shelf.
The men in the room laugh at my failed attempt to reach Johnny gets up and passes it to me. "Ghost mate you've never tasted food this good honestly." He adds trying to sneak a tea spoon out the drawer to have a mouthful of the sauce "John McTavish you dare eat any of that sauce I will kill you and hang you to dry" I say turning around with the pot of water in my hands going to put it on to boil "uh no lass I'd never" he says red faced putting the spoon back. "Be a good boy and cook some
Garlic bread whilst I grate some cheese and get price" I say laughing.
He nods, I pull the cheese from the fridge grating it into a smaller plate, I quickly wash up my hands.
"Watch him like a hawk, I will know" I say ominously walking out to get Price from his office.

I knock quietly on his door and let myself in, I stand quietly as he's on a call to Alejandro and Kate. "What can I do for you darlin'?" He asks looking away from the screen "I've made dinner for everyone and it's nearly done, shall I bring it to you here?" I ask rocking back and forth on my feet "yes please love, I'll say hello for you to ale and laswell" he states as I walk towards the door. I nod and leave.

Back into the kitchen I go and grab our plates and start dishing up pasta followed by the sauce topping it off with some cheese and placing a couple of slices of garlic bread on the side for Price, I let the others top theirs off with cheese and garlic bread as I walk out the door with a fork and the bowl and head back to his office.

I tap on the door, open it and walk over to his desk placing it down quietly and leave again.

"See I told you this grub was good, she's a keeper." Johnny says towards Ghost as he has his masked rolled up taking a mouthful of food he hums in agreement.

I grab my bowl and make my way to my room and sit at the desk to eat, I put the tv on for some background noise. Riley comes trotting in the room as I'm eating and launches himself up onto my bed curling up into my pillows before sighing intently and proceeding to fall asleep.

Once finished eating I place my mask back on my face, I find my headphones and listen to some music whilst walking back to the kitchen to do the dishes.

Soapy hands in the sink washing bowls, forks and pots I have a tap on my shoulder to see John stood behind me and places the bowl on the side. He pulls one ear of the headphone off my ear.

"Thank you for dinner darlin, it was delicious, I spoke to Ale and Kate they're happy for you to go out by the end of the week, if all is good tomorrow morning." He says as I wash up the last bowl and empty the sink. "Okay thank you" I say drying my hands "one of you boys can go dry and put away." Me says walking out the door.

Gaz walks up taking the dish towel from me "I'll do it go chill" I nod a thanks to him. I grab my blanket from the arm of the sofa and curl up into the cushions next to Ghost whilst they talk about random things. I put my headphone back on properly and chill out for a little while until I feel sleepy again, I lean my head on to Ghosts shoulder and fall asleep.

--GHOST--
I feel a small thump on my shoulder and see that Y/N has fallen asleep resting on me. I smile to myself as I take her headphones off, I hear the music she's listening to playing softly, no wonder she fell asleep. I continue watching tv with Johnny until I start to feel tired and without warning sleep starts to come over me as we're cuddled up on the sofa, she makes me feel warm and relaxed, I feel the need to protect her, I place my arms around her pulling her closer and promptly fall asleep.
