A/n: Apologies for the slightly long gaps between updates. Been dealing with a slight bit of burnout. Not because I'm bored of writing, but because I'm just tired in general.

Been playing a lot of ZZZ of course and managed to get the Platinum trophy on PS5. Got Burnice and her W-Engine too, so that is a huge plus!! Time to save for Yanagi!

The next chapter shall be the conclusion to the Belobog arc.

Enjoy!

A few days had passed since the grappler had been retrieved, and still Belobog were trying to locate the final machine that went missing. That meant, you had quite a bit of time to kill.

You did consider contacting Koleda to see if she was free, but with her being the president of the company, you didn't want to disrupt her work. Finding the location of this final machine had to be at the top of her list of priorities after all.

"If she gets some time, then she'll shoot me a text. Otherwise, I'm not gonna disturb her." You said.

A way you decided to occupy yourself during this spell of downtime, was by going to the arcade in Sixth Street to play some games.

Of course, you didn't go alone.

"That's very considerate! Watch out, Y/n! He's got you cornered!!" Billy said, frantically.

The two of you were playing Snake Duel and managed to get into a game that put you both up against two random people. It didn't take long for the both of you to get really invested in it.

"Hell nah! Watch this!" You said, moving the joystick to weave your way out of the predicament you got into.

By the slimmest of margins you managed to slip out of the corner that you were in, very quickly reversing the roles, now having the other player trapped in the same corner.

"Ha ha! Told you!" You said, beaming as you watched the opposing player run into the wall, eliminating him and ending the game.

You and Billy had run up your score, completely dominating the whole game, building up to a rather comfortable victory in the end despite the tiny issue you had just encountered.

"Wow!! I always have fun when I come to the arcade, but it's much better when I come here with someone else! Especially good friends like you and the manager!" Billy said, hugging you.

"We should come more often then. Invite Belle and Wise as well next time if you like. It would be great fun!" You said.

"That sounds like such an awesome idea! I'm just glad to have friends who wanna play games with me! Nicole is always so busy, and Anby...doesn't really get it. She prefers spending her free time by herself. Though you've been out with her a few times, right?" Billy said, tilting his head slightly as the two of you exited the arcade.

"We have, yeah. Anby is someone who prefers to enjoy herself in silence, whether that be alone or with other people. I assume she just isn't a fan of loud or busy places." You said, conjuring up your own theory.

"Hmm...maybe. Anyway, Nicole said she needs me back home very soon. I'd best start making my way back now." Billy said.

"Cool. If I don't get any word from Phaeton or Belobog, then I'll probably come back a bit later on." You said.

"I'll make sure Nicole knows that! Thank you for hanging out with me today, Y/n!" Billy said, waving at you happily as he started walking in the opposite direction.

"It was my pleasure, bro!" You replied, waving back until he disappeared out of sight.

"Now...I wonder what I could do in the meantime..." You muttered to yourself.
