However, with his intelligence, Enzo's mechanical skills and the blueprints left to him by someone important from his past, they created a system of armor that completely filtered out the ether and even give the wearer extraordinary abilities. After the fall of the old capital, New Eridu became the only civilization that managed to thrive in the face of a supernatural disaster known as the "Hollows", dark, disordered dimensions that appear out of thin air, that house dangerous and deadly creatures known as Ethereals. Those who play a key role in suppressing these hollows are granted the title of "Void Hunter" by the mayor of Eridu. Kaisen Namikaze, also known as "The Teleporter", is one of the few individuals who was granted this prestigious title. He, along with his childhood friend, Hoshimi Miyabi, are the only two Void Hunters of New Eridu, effectively making them the guardians of the city. But when a powerful and dangerous creature that was born during the fall of the old capital reemerges and turns its sight on the city of New Eridu, the two Void Hunters will be forced to confront it in a battle that determines the fate of New Eridu. Welcome to New Eridu! New Eridu had been My home ever since the fall of the old capital, I came from a well off family one if not the most influential families in the city. I were a part of a special response team due to my knowledge of the hollows and the power I possessed. My sword, which was blessed by the gods ever since I was born it was said I was the child of a ancient myth, that I would bring the world to a new era of peace.

Wake up, go to school, raid a Hollow, make a song, go to bed. I've been doing this for years now, and I still haven't gone anywhere here in New Eridu. At this point the only thing I can do is hope that my days in and days out finally culminate in something, just pray that my efforts pay off. It could be me making a friend in school, becoming a famous Hollow Raider, having a song of mine blow up... anything. Maybe today, the first day of my senior year marks the day where everything starts to pay off. I mean, the girl who sits next to me in class, Ellen... we seem pretty alike after all.
