.The group walk down the forest path, the leaves softly crunching beneath their boots and the sun rising a bit higher in the distance. AJ looks down at the ground with a frown, concerned for Tenn. Willy had a bow in his hand, a serious look on his face as he checked around for walkers.
(Y/N) walks with Clement at her side, Clement looking down at their map with a content expression. Violet was walking a bit ahead at a brisk pace, eager to save their friends.
"When we find the boat, we should find a way to sneak on board," (Y/N) breaks the silence, glancing over the map as Clement angles it towards her. "If we manage to sneak in, we can get our friends and be gone before they knew what happened."
"Yeah," Willy agrees, scoffing and rolling his eyes as he glares to the side. "If Tenn doesn't fuck it up this time."
AJ becomes angry at this, coming to a stop and turning to Willy. "It wasn't Tenn's fault!"
"Yes, it was!" Willy snaps back, scowling furiously. "Mitch died because he--"
"Say one more thing about Tenn. I dare you," AJ threatens, taking a step forward as (Y/N) and Clement look back with concern.
"Knock it off, you two," Clement firmly intervenes, shaking his head.
"Guys, look!" Violet gains their attention, waving them over quickly with enthusiasm.
They lower themselves into a crouch as they follow Violet into the long, yellow grass, a large, rusted steam boat docked in the lake in the distance. (Y/N) looks along the platforms of the ship, spotting movement along the deck and sides.
"You see anything?" Clement questions as AJ looks through his binoculars, making him hum out loud in thought.
"The beach, uhm..." AJ trails off for a moment, "a boat, and, uh... a wood street in the water."
"The pier," Clement informs softly, leaning up a bit to see the dock as he squints a bit.
"Pier," AJ repeats under his breath, nodding as he lowers the binoculars away from his face.
"Okay," Clement sighs lightly, looking over to Violet and Willy. "Let's spread out and focus on those areas. Keep your heads low."
Willy moves off to the side, hiding behind a tree and peering out from behind it to observe the docks. Violet keeps her eyes on the ship as she moves along the grass to get a better view, AJ remaining put with his binoculars as (Y/N) stands behind a tree, looking out from around it to the work area by the docks.
Clement shifts to move, pausing when something catches his attention.
He lowers himself, picking up the rabbits foot with a frown. "A... rabbit's foot?"
"Omar used to carry around a rabbit's foot," Willy whispers as he looks over, making Clement look up. "You don't think...?"
"We'll take it with us. We can give it back to him once we've saved him," Clement reassures, tucking the rabbit foot away in his jacket pocket. "You see anything useful?"
"Looks like building material," Willy replies as Clement joins his side. "Furniture. Probably stuff from the train station."
Clement takes out his own set of binoculars, holding them to his eyes and peering through them. His brows furrow when he spots a flimsy looking raft, crates along the docks and some on the rafts themselves.
"They're loading those rafts with supplies..."
Willy looks down in thought for a moment, lighting up with an idea. "I could cut those loose and just ride them down river. Easy."
