I wondered at first how something so innocent as a game coming in the mail, and scaring me could happen. How I could not think that ordering this game was a bad idea? This is cliched I know, but you have to understand how this all plays out! It may be a cliche but it really happended to me and it still scares me today, and I still have nightmares about it.

It was just a normal day, sitting at home browsing the web looking for some good Creepypastas, and it was also my birthday tomorrow, and it would be great to find something scary or terrifying. My parents knew exactly what to get me, you see it was no secret. I loved Creepypastas and video games! I would come home from school with some wild tales about "A Haunted Zelda game" or a "Pale faced killer" and would often sit at the dinner table telling my parents about it. Of course you couldn't keep your food down with stories like this. I went on eBay and typed in "Scary Games" and of course things like Dead Space and Fear would come up, so I had an idea, I'd go to the very end of all the pages and look for some proper creepy pictures! Yeah, as I said I loved this stuff and the creepiness just got me more interested in them. So when I came across a game called "Tina" I clicked on it. The picture was sort of skin textured, kinda like a lampshade you would see in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I looked at the description of the game, 'Wanna have a good fright? Try this 16-Bit terror! Only released in Syria!' To add to the fear I had gotten made a special leather cover to put over the catridge. Awesome! A rare creepy looking game from Syria, and going only for £4.50? It was a dream come true for me! I asked my Mum and she said yes. So I went to bed, and when I woke up, sure enough it had arrived. It was a quick delivery, but I ignored how fast it came, and got sucked in to playing my new game. I got out my SNES and put it in. It booted up with a small chiptune noise, like a really high pitched beep that went on and on, then it started at the title screen. It was just a black background with the name Tina on it, Nothing else was there. I pressed start and there was just a tiny white dot in the middle of the darkness. I pressed the B button and heard a scream, I kept pressing buttons, to no avail, and it kept on playing that same scream over and over. So just as I reached for the reset button I heard a whisper. I listened and I heard a voice "Can your hear me?" It was a womans voice, she sounded like she was crying and being forced to say it, then a small message box popped up "That was my friend talking did you hear her?" I was really freaked at the time, and pressed A to see what would happen. The voice played again "Please find me!" I wondered what she meant, if this was just a cry for help then the man would tell her to shut up, but he told her to say it, you could kinda hear it in his demented voice. Then another text box came up "MY NAME IS LUKE CASSER, I LIVE IN 42 BREAK STREET. REPORT MY CRIME!" I was so freaked out now, I was holding back tears! This really creeped me out, and I called the police and told them about it, they didn't seem to take it seriously, but the horror they heard in my voice convinced them.
It was two weeks later, and all over the news "YOUNG GIRL MURDERED". The police searched the mans house and they found a load of bootlegged games and the girl's body. A portion of her skin from her arm was missing, and her face had been burned with acid. He was arrested and put on trial, I heard about it, so I clicked on the TV and watched it. Remember James Holmes, the nutter who murdered all those people in the cinema? Remember his stare? This guy had it. He just sat there in the court room with that stare and I went to grab the cartridge to throw it out. I quickly pulled it out of the SNES and my nails scratched the leather cover, then a a small stream of liquid came out of the scratch, I just thought it was water or something, but it was blood. The cover wasn't leather, it was skin.
